GranNicI'm a fan of the show!I am a moderate and love to hear both sides. I love Anthony Scaramucci and turn off the podcast when Michael Steele is on. I prefer a down to earth guy with regular background and a great education and world experience " the Mooch." Always liked Katty Kay.
-
Smitty1zFantastic!Love the podcast! Both are very well spoken, very well educated, both counter each other respectfully and best of all there is no yelling and screaming. Two people having a conversation about what is going on in politics. I wish more people would learn from them and conduct themselves professionally. There is a difference between knowledge and wisdom and I’m glad these two understand that when using their platform. I always leave having learned something new or at least a better understanding of what is actually happening. Thank you to the both of you!

DemocracyLadyOdd combo that really works!Enjoy this show; love Anthony’s insights and takes on many of these characters in his dealings. He’s like Forrest Gump w the places and people he talks about. At times, Katty interrupts too much. Let him finish his set up and story. I do like this podcast! Thanks.

ListenerlemanWho knew Anthony was so knowledgeableWas familiar with Katy’s work but not Anthony’s and enjoying his insights and bantering with Katy.

wendyblingSerious opinions with lighthearted deliveryLove this duo for their delivery of opinions, historical context and global impact. Very smart and hugely amusing. Big fan of Mooch conservative perspective but Katty crushed with her quick comment “they sent the dog catcher.” This secured my subscription, have never paid for a podcast but feel like I must now.

WoodzReviewsLost opportunityThis started as such a great concept. The Mooch is well connected, perspicacious and willing to take a stand. Katy is a seasoned BBC professional. Unfortunately, Katy seems to struggle to leave the BB,’s neutrality behind. Take a stand! But the biggest problem is what has become a major distraction - the flirting. It makes me uncomfortable, so I can’t imagine how their spouses and families feel. Two, really good choices to host the pod, but undone by their own ability to just stick to the analysis without flattering and flirting with each other.

WilderLeadRaising the RoofThe mooch would be a pooch without Katty Kay. I like Anthony, but Katty is perceptive and deft at a level that challenges Anthony to be his best. Phenomenal teamwork, keep up the great leadership Katty. Keep taking those notes Anthony you have come a long way. I have been more refreshed by your combinatorial approach to informing listeners, going high level and low level and side to side, fun and informative. Solid background info and knowledge to contemporary stories and activities, with info drive locked into fifth gear. Salute with respect to you two.

M&A RingmasterM&A MasterI am a republican and I find this podcast refreshing and insightful. Anthony and Katy provide insights that I have not heard elsewhere. Unfortunately my party has changed its values and lost its path. Honesty is the only Hope left. Thanks for an excellent podcast.

Nikki updateEhhh..Hard to take this seriously when it sounds like 2 teenagers flirting!
-
Hill HomePlease call it what it is...Please when you talk about the Venezuelan men sent to El Salvador stop saying they were "deported"! They were sent to a concentration camp PRISON in a country that is not theirs and it was done to them without DUE PROCESS!

TregasAnthony ScaramucciAnthony Scaramucci is unlistenable

trying to shopReally great. What a surprising combination in the best way. Really wonderful coverage—I’m bummed I didn’t discover sooner because I really hate most news podcasts.

FBG007No Hannity and ColmesI have been listening to this for quite some time and added to my rotation, but I struggle with it. Anthony is basically a setup man for Katty Kay and I haven’t heard him really challenge her or any Democratic positions. Katty Kay seems to funnel her views through the narrow lens of feminism. Kamala was not a bad candidate; men just won’t elect a woman to the Presidency. It also feels like this is a complete Trump bashing show with Anthony being the inside baseball guy telling us what’s going on in his inner circle. I don’t buy his stories. I’ll continue to listen for now, but if I need to make room for another show this will be one of my candidates to replace. April 19 Update. I finally decided to unfollow as they really are not adding anything intellectually useful. If you are looking for a good counterpoint to Trump, NPR Politics more than covers that bill without the gossipy feel of this show.

Et la sa vasGreat episodeIt talk about politics and it is a very important topic because it s about Now.So I m a big big fan of them . 😀

legacystakeHot TakeIts one of the few podcasts right now I follow closely. I find the discussion interesting and entertaining. It feels like it really delivers a perspective and conversation that is different from what else is out there. I feel like both Katty and Anthony deliver insight from their professional spheres that is useful to hear and not what you are going to get from NYT or NPR.

FORNGJAppreciative - be relentless!Value your insights, experience, diligence and passion. When trade between countries is mutually beneficial and respectful, they are less likely to nuke each other. Antagonistic approaches to trade increase the global nuclear risk profile. This concern should be the one issue that binds both the left and the right. No one should be sleeping easy tonight. Please carry on!

SJFribInterestingNice banter between wealthy people - Ms Kay talks too much though, interrupts, and overtalks way too much - maybe organize episodes so it’s more even.

Hadassah IritYou Misstated NY Times v. SullivanAs E. Jean Carroll’s successful defamation case against Donald Trump reflects, it is possible for a public figure to recover damages for defamation. It’s just a higher standard: a public figure must show that the statement was made with “actual malice,” which means “with knowledge that it was false or with reckless disregard for the truth." In addition, one appearance on a soapbox does not a public figure make. A public figure typically is an elected official or a person who has thrust herself into the public discourse. The point of NY Times v. Sullivan is that free speech should not by chilled by fear of retribution.
-
pollypanzerAwesome to get to know them!Anthony and Katy are a one-of-a-kind tag team! Can’t get enough! Anthony, I love getting to know you. Thank you so much!

Prometheus---Great PodcastAnthony, which one of the following podcasters/journalists will be the first to be hauled off to some detention center or camp and never heard from again for something they said or wrote? Rachael Maddow James Carville Keith Olbermann Tim Miller Steve Schmidt Rick Wilson Nicole Wallace George Conway Chris Hayes Jeff Goldberg That’s my question Don’t be naïve like Katie…….my money is on Wilson, with Olbermann a close second, Schmidt shows

bgyvju7osdn5cqz1wp4k6xt80f3i2aAnthony knows more than he saysAnthony knows more dirt about Trump than almost anyone. But NOTICE THAT ANTHONY NEVER SHARES ANYTHING PROFOUND ABOUT TRUMP. Folks, every real Wall Streeter from the 1990s has stories about what a pathetic dirtball Trump is. Anthony probably knows WHY RUSSIA OWNS TRUMP. BUT ANTHONY NEVER SPILLS THE TEA. Wall Street coward. Put out or get out Anthony.
-
Christopher De FrancisPretty Good ListeningInteresting take on contemporary affairs. Both hosts are well informed and have educated opinions. There is a pretty explicit bias against Donald Trump which clouds the objectivity of their reporting. Easy listening overall.
-
RobMajorLove the Mooch but he misses the point sometimes. Was on the fence when this pod first started but I love it now. These people have great chemistry. The news is usually the stuff that other pods cover but their insight is interesting. Go Katty and Anthoy! Back on the fence. It’s 3/6/25 and they are talking about Trumps speech and they mention him talking about transgender mice. Two seconds of research would have shown the Trump is an idiot. Something is the matter. They don’t have all the info they need. Approach this pod with caution. Temper your expectations.

Noi468MehA bit disappointing. Came from Rest Is History looking for serious and contextualized discussions of US politics. I don’t doubt the hosts’ sincerity or intelligence, but they haven’t figured out how to inform the viewer yet. “Trump Bad” - yes, we know. And because of that obvious fact, can we please get genuinely interesting conversation about what precisely is going on?
-
JLRMIGood - though the banter gets a little oldEnjoy the behind the scenes and timely themes. Katy and Anthony bring different and complementary experiences and perspectives, which is great. The banter and Anthony’s egotistic and self-centered self-deprecation get a little old and distracting, the conversation often goes off into distracting tangents, and the love-hate fascination with Trump is a bit creepy at times.
-
fending aloneTrump stoogeI love “The Rest is History,” but did not even start on this loser. Anthony Scaramocci? Really? Trump stooge (who can’t even pronounce “arriviiste”? I have no reason to waste my time on a podcast thaqt is already living in the land of Donald’s delusions. If you want us to trust Goldhanger, please hire real analysts, not delusional factotums.
-
Miami MayhemThe Rest Is Politics: USInformative and energetic pod on the state of US politics. Katy and Anthony have a tendency to talk over each other which is annoying. I’ll keep listening.
-
AliccgTiptoe around truthI appreciate your thorough understanding of foreign policy and history. But I do NOT understand how journalists tiptoe past the ACTUAL HOLD and threats that Trump/Musk have laid on republicans in Congress. I understand there are credible threats to life, family, career. Is he threatening assasination? Ruined careers? Be specific. Threats remaining secret are the toxic weapon of BULLIES. PLEASE SPEAK OUT!!!!!
-
BoatsongsPatheticIs so blatantly liberal. Anthony has bad TDS. Says ridiculous lies about Trump. Retire and find a real job. Your view sickens me and most intelligent people. Every time I hear this sad show, I try to unfollow but it keeps popping up. Anthony is so butt hurt it’s unlistenable.
-
nbsfmcScaramucci needs to talk lessAnd stop interrupting her. Jesus. Ramble much?

Adam HenickHowlingWhat do you think the wolves of K Street are currently up to?
-
sophieyaleI love both of them and their sibling-like teasingThis is an excellent combination of friendly banter, insight, (especially with the historical pedagogy Anthony tries to infuse) and inside the beltway, gossip
-
Lindy607Some AdviceI would like Katy to stop with the condensation of Anthony. It’s not cute nor is it funny. It definitely isn’t a good look.
-
BeachdiaperGreat mix of discussionAt a certain point, I got tired of the usual podcast fare. The two discussants present themselves well, clearly are well-educated, and are super smart. Enjoy the humor and the relationship between the podcasters.

Creating Nickname AttemtDear Darrin from TexasMaybe we don’t call those alleged “other riots” insurrections because they weren’t trying to overthrow the government?
-
RVCDad2025Entertaining and Informative!Love this podcast. Love him, hate him, agree with him, disagree with him - either way, Mooch is never boring (I love him) and always a good listen with Katty Kay. Mooch can always be counted on to point out the incongruities between what Don Pardon will have you believe and actual reality.
-
lynnelipGreat podcastExcellent podcast , insightful, fast paced , honest commentary
-
TraviijGo To Pod for US PoliticsBalanced, thoughtful, and entertaining. Katy Kay and the Mooch flow really well together and offer insightful, yet accessible talking points for the day. I recommend this pod to those who wish to steer clear of the vile partisan hackery rampant in some of these other US political pods.
-
kevin169nyUsed to be GoodIt was a podcast I listened to weekly but Since the US Election Results I cannot listen to it anymore, Katty Kay is out of touch & the Mooch was completely wrong on so many things looking back now.
-
Darrin from TexasThis podcast is a waste of server space!!!There was never an insurrection, you know how I know that for a fact because none of the people arrested on January 6th were charged with insurrection and I’m so tired of hearing people call it that!! Now I’m not condoning any of their behavior by any means but how come we don’t hear anything about the other 200+ riots that happened leading up to it that injured hundreds and caused billions of dollars worth a damage!!! Why don’t you do a podcast about those?
-
Joe's ViewGood podcast, but too many feesI enjoy this show when I can access non subscriber episodes. $7 a month is a lot to pay for a podcast that has access to ad support for non subscribers. It’s frustrating to see very little new content posted that is accessible without payment.
-
bsalbroMove onWill you have any relevant content this year or should I just delete the follow now ?
-
Ben from DurhamHe’s not who he’s pretending to beTony Scaramucci is a dirty, deceitful snake in the grass, and it’s fitting that the only people who were willing to give him a platform are headquartered on the other side of an ocean. Katy is mostly up to speed on us politics, if not terribly well informed or insightful.
-
Riker37Scaramucci is an idiotI don’t know how long I can listen to Antony…he is really stupid and says wrong things all the time. Even the lovely Katty Kay cannot compensate for the dumb things he says.
-
avilanovadFun to listen, but hard to agree with their opinionsKatie is just excellent and so charming and Anthony PLEASE!!! talk about something different than your past love with Trump!
-
CredibleReviewsNOWait a minute, it’s bad enough that you’re running promos insinuating January 6 was something it wasn’t, but you’re also insulting listeners by making them pay to hear this nonsense? This feels like MSNBC/CNN misinformation. Let’s be clear, January 6 was not a good day. But, it was not an insurrection. And it was not a coup. Jan 6th was a riot. It was a ridiculous day no one should be proud of but let’s not pretend it was 9/11..

Jesus driverLots of Heat, no LightThese two dimwits are funny to listen to. They both make sweeping generalizations and never follow anything up with facts. Mooch is still made at being publicly humiliated in the Trump administration. Everyone in America knows he’s a dope so he’s taken his show to England where he has yet to be found out. You Brits will figure it out soon enough. And the other one hates trump with passion just like most European liberals because he’s identified that they depend on the USA to fight their wars without paying anything. They are both funny.
