This is the best blues podcast I’ve heard. It’s certainly slowed down with new episodes over the years, but I still get excited whenever a new one pops up and the old ones are great to revisit.

Love this podcast site. Sadly, it appears to have ceased to exist since 2017. I love early 20th century early blues👍

Great podcast with rare music

This podcast does the blues fans a great service.

I'm only about 8 episodes in, but this is a great program so far. I've really been enjoying it at work, and the episodes are just the right length.

Absolutely the definitive history of blues. A must for blues lovers. I have listened (and re-listened) to each episode. There is no better representation of the bygone blues era on iTunes. I wait for each new episode to immerse myself in the greatest music genre ever written! Please please please keep this podcast going!!!

If you are a blues fan or a history buff, then this is the podcast for you. Each podcast is 'themed' and then the music is chosen to fit that theme. Each theme is set within an historical context. Not only is one exposed to an incredible variety of old time blues, but one learns the reasons, the why's and how's and context of each song. Incredible.

I love this podcast. The tunes sound so raw I can hear the needle. The host is full of great facts and interesting bits of info before each tune. He plays mostly early blues 20s 30s 40s. Acoustic obv He will play some modern music 60s etc if it helps paint the bigger picture. Thank you so much for this stuff I would not get to hear anywhere else Hope you keep posting. You have a fan. Guitar solo.
