Fun but rigged#34Not a daily show anymoreThis time around it’s been a full week of no recordings. Other times it’s only been a few days here and there.
-
ShaneBrown801Way Too Many Ads!I get it’s a free podcast but so are 99% of the others I listen to. This one has significantly more ads than any other. It makes it very hard to enjoy.
-
why do u need 2 know huh huhJazzI love this show I’ve been a jazz fan since I was three thanks David!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😁👍😁👍😁👍😁👍😁👍😁👍😁👍
-
K doggidyW Locke!!I love this show and I listen to it daily. I love how energetic David is but at the same time he sticks to basketball. I listened to locked on nba and half the time those guys are just playing background music and not talking basketball. Great podcast! -your 14 year old listener.
-
IDHunter38Great View of the GameDavid has great insight on the game. I love the stats he shares because you can’t argue the facts and he shows us how they look regardless of where the chips fall.
-
Kiwi JulieLove the showLook forward to catching up on everything Jazz mostly every day. David is very knowledgeable and obviously a Jazz fan himself.
-
lostinnihonDaily?Regular listener of the show - seems to be a mantra of Locked on Jazz to thank the daily listeners. It’s hard to listen daily when there aren’t daily podcasts. I guess David is too busy running the Locked on Network to make a daily podcast. I listen for the insights into the Jazz which David is awesome at - for that alone I woud rate the show a 5 star. Just wish the content was consistent and didn’t include political hectoring. I come here for Jazz insights.

Telepod JrIs Lauri Markenen going to be an all star?Is he going to be a all star even with all these good players?
-
cngreenlandToo much adsUsed to be a daily listener, but way too many ads. Either he’s pitching other locked on shows or it’s an ad for something else with sports information sprinkled in-between.
-
Kevykev20Best Jazz Podcast out thereDavid Locke is the best!! His analysis, his numbers, his energy, his takes, are all AMAZING! I love this show
-
Matt_doxeyBest Basketball podcast hands downI’ve been listening to locked on Jazz everyday since 2013. The numbers and stats have changed the way I think about basketball and made watching the games more fun. Because of this show I’ve also started listening to other locked on programs too. Now I’m a regular listener for locked on NBA and college football. Definitely recommend for all Basketball fans.

Alexchar34Love the pod, audio quality is a little poor. This is a great pod, lots of good insight. The audio is always pretty poor quality, especially on Postcast. It’s also super annoying on Postcast when the ad comes in the middle of Ron or David talking. There’s gotta be a way to put it in between when they aren’t talking. Also the audio is just always bad. But I love the podcast in general.
-
josefw62Go jazz!!I’ve been listening to locked on jazz since 2011 definitely a must listen to for jazz fans! David’s insight is amazing he really put in a lot of effort… I love the energy and passion for the jazz!
-
natedog 211Don’t waste your timePlease stop taking sips of a drink while talking! It’s so weird! Also everydayers isn’t a word and the podcast doesn’t come out everyday!
-
CamD3Always keeps me updated and informedListening for several years now, I feel like I know David well just from hearing all the inside jokes and numbers he always comes back to. The podcast gives me a way to make mundane tasks fly by. Thanks for all you do, keep up the amazing work!!
-
EBardsleyGreat Stuff!I really enjoy listening to David’s unique take and look at the Utah Jazz. The geeky numbers make it all the better, especially in a day in which statistics and analytics are such a vital part of sports. Keep up the great work!
-
lksdjflskdjfThe Best !!David Locke is simply the best. I look forward to his insight on the Jazz each and every day. I love his analysis of all things Jazz. He is obviously well prepared and has an incredible depth of knowledge. Well done ——-

Jake AllinsonInsight, expertise, geeky numbers.David locke is the best insight into the team. He provides thought out, insightful takes on every episode and provides great, meaningful interactions with the listeners. My daily listen while working through residency.

Riddlesinthedark117The mouth slurps and swallows are disgustingDavid Locke hates his daily listeners. It’s one thing to record from your van before hitting the slopes, but the eating, the chewing, the mouthbreathing, like he has just climbed a flight of stairs, it’s unacceptable. He has resources. He has created a podcast brand that doubtless has interns that could edit it to an acceptable level. He’s a radio play-by-play announcer. He has to know how his audio quality is totally unprofessional. And beyond that, he sounds like your friend who you know barely passed high school math when talking about stats and analytics. Obsessing over screen assists, or his custom draft analysis (that somehow doesn’t include the historically most reliable shooting statistic, free throw rate). It’s great that he created a viable podcast brand, but his position as Jazz employee creates obvious conflicts of interest and he has sacrificed honesty in his coverage too many times to maintain that.
-
Bflex1985PainfulI had to give it a 1 because his ads are SOOOOO painfully long. He doesn’t believe what he is selling. He throws in some Jazz talk in between his commercial ads. I would literally pay him money to do this podcast ad free
-
Brycenwalker12Great breakdown and analysisDavid Locke is amazing at taking complex basketball concepts and explaining them so the average Jazz fan can understand. This podcast is fascinating and informative! I listen to it every day. Keep up the great work!
-
LotsofcacheInteresting analysisInteresting analysis here, but become a woke platform full of censorship. Will be taking my listenership elsewhere.
-
JayDubTayBest Jazz Podcast!I’ve listened almost everyday for a couple years now and love the show. It’s entertaining but also brings cool data to the forefront to make the game and team much more interesting. Keep the great content coming!
-
UtahMitchJazz Fan? Be an Everydayer!Been listening from the beginning. David Locke is THE best authority with accessible info on YOUR Utah Jazz. Fantastic podcast and well worth your listen.
-
Fishi_ishiFive star reviewHis intro to the show says it all! If you like geeky numbers and a deeper look into the statistics of the game, you’ll like the show. Doesn’t matter if you are a jazz fan or not you’ll learn something every time you tune in. I listen most days and watch on YouTube at least once a week.
-
KDot72Best way to keep up with the JazzThis show is a highly entertaining, analytically driven look at the Jazz. Locke is just as great as he usually is on the pbp for the Jazz! The show evaluates trades, draft picks, film from games and Locke has great insider knowledge to offer every day! The best way to stay in the loop on all things Utah Jazz.

Help!!! I am bored!!Can we fix the NBA????David, Enjoy the show and listen often. Just want to give you some feedback on my current thoughts on the state of the NBA. The game is becoming so boring! I have lost all interest and I have been a basketball junkie all my life. From Ricky Green, Darrell Griffith and AD. To John and Karl to D-Will and to Donovan Spida Mitchell! I really have loved the Jazz, except the last few years, things have become so pathetically boring. David, please help the NBA correct the boredom! Too many games, too many nights off, lack or effort and lack of intensity. Players run the game not the owners. At this time, NCAA product is so much better, because every game matters. More fun to watch, even though the talent is so inferior. The NFL is the model the NBA should adopt. Much better format. All the games matter. MLB and NBA is dying in my opinion. Too many games. I know that money runs the league, but we may see a shift to other sports and entertainment if the NBA does not correct the many problems it has. Hope it will correct in the future or they will continue to lose fans. (In my opinion) Thank you for the podcast. Enjoy it quite a bit.

Credibility specialistCredibility SpecialistI took some time today to listen to your show!! Locked On Jazz, is a fantastic podcast with great info, advice, and perspectives. You won't regret listening to and learning from the podcast.

The Lukas ShowAWESOME!!!I love this podcast!! David Locke is the perfect fit for this! He does great with his facts and numbers & I love that it’s actually daily. For a being a podcaster myself. (@TheLukasShow) I think he does a fantastic job! Jazz Nation. #Take Note
-
Jakep1247Jazz fanaticOne word describes this podcast. Amazing!!!!
-
ShiversocCan’t handle the drinking and nasal clearing any moreI’ve been listening for years and love the content, but the drinking and swallowing and nasal clearing has become constant and it’s hard to even listen to now. Might be a mic issue, because of the 20 or so podcasts (including several locked on network ones) I listen to, this is the only one with this issue. Looking through the reviews this has been brought up many times for months, but maybe enough 1 star reviews will finally convince you to fix the issue.
-
a universe awayIt’s roughThis show has the worst ad to content ratio out of any other podcast I listen to… and I listen to a lot of podcasts. There’s not a ton of competition in the Jazz podcast space, so if you’re starving for more commentary, you can find some nuggets in here. Locke almost punishes long time listeners with the same intro and outro every single episode. Yes, I know I’m listening to a podcast. Yes, you have a network. Yes, this podcast can be found wherever I listen to podcasts. The last thing is the audio quality. It’s pretty horrific. I get that he’s not technically adept, but after doing this so many years, you’d think this would improve. The random videos that he accidentally starts watching during recordings that blasts your ears grate, too. I dropped off for years, but with the Jazz being interesting this year, I slog through each episode. YMMV.

ben10💪🏼🏀OkayIt says it is daily podcast it is not😕🤬🥺 Great podcast but audio not great
-
mlbr86Great content but sometimes hard to listen tooI’ve always enjoyed listening to this Podcast for the content and updates. David spends a lot of time following the team and the stats and does a great job being able to keep his audience entertained. Due to the audio issues and Locke slurping on his coffee throughout the podcasts it gets a little bit cringy. I typically turn off an episode after 2-3 slurps.
-
NineDarkAudio issues have ruined a great podcastPlease fix the audio issues. This show has become unlistenable in its current state.
-
sdavid9329Does he seriously own a podcast network? This is the only podcast in history where the audio quality gets worse each year. I think Locke is buying progressively worse and worse microphones as some sort of social experiment testing our listening loyalty.
-
tydenerrekUpload episodes right after the gamesFirst off I love this podcast it keeps my interest in the NBA while the off-season is young peaked. But like it is a little annoying how these locked on podcasts say the daily podcast about this team and then don’t post daily. If you aren’t going to post daily that is completely fine just don’t say you are and then don’t. Also you should try doing one right after the games instead of 4 hours before the games so that after the games when we listen we don’t get how y’all think the game will go. Other than that thanks so much this is such a great show and I know it takes time and commitment!!! Thanks!!!
-
SunTzu-SlayerLove it! Only 1 changeI love this podcast and all the support of stats behind what is shared. Great knowledge of the whole NBA too. I learn new stuff everyday. Great content and would be 5 stars except for the amount and frequency of advertisements is too much for me. Maybe that's because I listen to a lot of locked on Podcasts and hear the same ones over and over but sometimes it seems like 40-50% of the episode is ads. I need more basketball. Also, I love that David always supports stuff with facts but I'd love to hear more of his gut opinions ignoring some of the facts too like most fans probably do. But still love it either way.
-
StrattatkLove it!As a lifetime, jazz fan I really enjoy your analysis and insights. Keep up the great work.
-
ShaunOKCPlease hold off on the coffee during the showI love the podcast and I’ve listened since the beginning. Please, please, please stop drinking during the show. It’s like someone slurping 3 inches away from my ear.
-
hard2listen2MicrophoneYou’re shows always have outstanding information but for as long as you have been doing this and all the shows you have done, your microphone are SO BAD that it distract from your genius. Please invest in better quality mikes 🙏🙏🙏
-
jsjob21My first listen of the day!I love listening to LOJ! David has insightful data and inside knowledge to share even during the off-season. It keeps me connected to my hometown team while I live in Houston. thanks for the podcast, David! Go Jazz!
-
hillyeaIs Locke okay?David, I have been listening from almost the beginning of Locked on Jazz You always do an amazing job!!! Todays episode turned me off and I was really excited for the Info about Raptors pursuit of Don. The reason I got turned off was because during the first part of the show it sounded like you were eating in my ear. Oor chugging blended built bars ;) So that is why I ask if you are okay.
-
sconefadedUnfortunateUnfortunate that the owner of locked on is one of the worsts hosts. Most inconsistent host as far as uploads and lacks the creativity to make the show entertaining.
-
Lefty HASlurpYou have mentioned how much you love your coffee and the extensive research you’ve done to find the perfect cup. I agree a man needs a good mug of coffee and, in your case, a superior one. The irritating thing is your constant slurping every time you take a drink; you slurp right into the mic (slurp, slurp, slurp). It is not only annoying but terrible manners for a gentleman such as yourself Howard Adams
-
CalBagleyBagmanWhat a great podcast. I love the role playing nature of it. Do it again! I am a transplant Warriors’ diehard fan who moved to Utah to be with grandkids. Your podcast has given me a fast lane to learning about the Jazz for the past three years. I’m a Jazz fan now too. Thank you.
-
guitarhrro9999Shut Up and DribbleI love the way David breaks down basketball using a numbers based approach. I also love his access to Jazz players, coaches and front office. I don’t love his political rants that offend HALF of his audience. Learn from MJ. Republicans buy sneakers too. Still giving you 5 stars because I believe in your ability to stop the politics. Also used to see you at the Green Parrot. Also loved the Sal Defazio interview
