Alisa Kamis-BrindaAmazing podcast for therapists and practice ownersI love the Practice of the Practice podcast! Joe Sanok is a fabulous resource for therapists and practice owners. I’m addition to his practice-building podcasts, which help therapists at all stages of growth in their practice, he also interviews therapists in various specialties and modalities. As a busy professional, one of the best parts is that you can learn so much in these short podcasts. If you haven’t listened yet, I highly recommend that you check it out! You won’t regret it.

Poker by zyngaAwesome ContentUPDATE: PoP is awesome and I always walk away with a new way of thinking about things like marketing, networking, and sales! Thanks Joe for offering such high quality content in this podcast. I have become more convinced than ever before that it is possible for me to be successful in private practice. If you are listening to the podcast and have not checked out the corresponding website, you really should. It is filled with great content and lots of value-bombs to shatter the myth that I as a counselor should only work for an agency of some sort. I have been binge listening to all of the older episodes and have gotten a ton of tips from those as well. Thanks again!

I wish I had found Joe years ago. After being interviewed by Joe for the podcast, now I understand why… Joe has the discipline of an experienced therapist, he know how to let his guest express their ideas in full, when to add to conversation, and how best to summarize the points for the audience. Awesome experience!

grouptherapycentral guyLong Time Fan!I have listened regularly to Joe’s podcast since 2015, and have gained a ton of value from it. I am now in full-time private practice myself (and also starting a group practice) and have benefited from most episodes. I pull up Spotify and first click on the Practice of the Practice podcast to see what new episodes have come out since I was last logged on and then listen while running, doing the dishes, or driving my kids around. My 9-year daughter recently heard that I was going to be interviewed on the podcast and flipped out with excitement because she has vicariously listened to this show for most of her life. She kept repeating, “THE Joe Sanok?…you’re going to be interviewed by THE Joe Sanok?” :)
-
SO EXCITED!!!LOVE the show!Lots of great content. Very targeted and Joe does a great job of pulling out some golden nuggets every episode. Highly recommend!
-
westfalcon4Deteriorating ContentI enjoyed early installments of this podcast useful and benefitted from the content. However, recent content is becoming less relevant to the practice of psych by the episode. It feels like the host has run out of relevant topics, and is just posting small shows about whatever lifestyle content someone is willing to speak on in order to keep the view count up and advertisement revenue rolling.
-
Meredith in MiamiGreat information!Joe and team do an excellent job of understanding and sharing the mechanics of running a practice so the therapist don’t have to waste time researching what they need to know to run their business! They can stick to what they do best- working with patients- while Joe leads them through what they need to know to run an excellent practice!

Jakeyjake6488Such a helpful podcast!I’m in my final year of my CMHC master’s program (2 months from graduation!) and I discovered this podcast about a year ago. It has been such an amazing guide and supplement to the things I’m learning in coursework and internship. Using the lessons I’ve learned from Joe and his guests I plan on starting my own private practice within my first year as a (provisionally) licensed therapist. Thanks for all of your hard work, Joe and everyone else who contributes to this pod!
