    Great podcast
This podcast shows the human side of Dale Jr. the parenting stories make him relatable and his passion for NASCAR and the fans show why he was the most popular driver every year throughout his career. I look forward to this podcast each week.

Ross Chastain, the biggest mouth of nothing thanks for making us have to listen. Find better people.
Well, this is Ross Chastain character. Will he be a racecar driver? He’s just boring as listening to a football player talk about playing football how about Junior? Find someone that he can talk to about why there’s no loyalty in teams anymore sponsors and how NASCAR has made that and evolve that into I remember the reason NASCAR was so good was people stood behind their products because they thought their drivers stood behind their products nowadays they go as quick as they come no more Chastain’s place worst interview I’ve heard in years well besides that guy from the Budweiser years.

    Keep it up
I vote TJ does double duty next year for Dirty Mo. DB. And Tuesday DJD. Rattling Jr with only stories he can bring to the cast is amazing. Lets get the moments of silence out of the way and fill them with more stories from TJ

    Awesome
I look forward every week to hear the stories from Dale Jr, I enjoy everyone he shares with the public and his fans. Don’t ever change what you have going.

    Pops Interview was Top Shelf
Loved the interview with Tony Sr. The stories from the Bud days and before sparked memories from what I consider the Golden Age of NASCAR. Keep putting out the great content and can’t wait to see the new Bud car on the track.

Look forward to this podcast every week. First episode of Kenny and Kenny you need to retell the story of the trip you took with Kenny Schrader one summer .

    Love the interviews!
I love all the interviews of the drivers and crew chiefs from the 80’s it’s a time period I wish I could have witnessed. With these interviews it feels like I was there. Also if Allgaier wins the championship this year will you have a 50th birthday /championship party?

    Awesome 🍺
I travel weekly for work and spend around 20 hours on the road. This podcast helps to make the road trips enjoyable, listening to Dale Jr tell stories from his youth and former driving days is absolutely the best. Y’all need to a segment on dale reacting to his radio outburst over the years. Cheers 🍺

    Authentic Story Telling
Great show! Really feels like authentic story-telling and brings up a lot of great memories from the era of NASCAR I grew up watching and learning a lot of things I didn’t know about the sport and life.

    The Unknown
Love the format …. Informative and entertaining. But it’s the unknown interviews that are the best. The Dirty Mo team does a great job of bringing in guests that are mostly unknown outside of the tight NASCAR community that are typically the most entertaining. Tons of stories, sometimes the same…just told from a different set of eyes. I look forward to the next episode and dread the end of the race season. Would love to see you do an episode on Tim Richmond. The greatest driver who rarely gets talked about. How about a whole guest segment made up of those that knew him? It’s time for him to get his story told and his name placed up high like the other great shoes!!!! It’s 2024…. Is it safe to talk about it yet????

    Dale’s Glasses?
Hey Guys, Faithful listener every week, especially for dirty air. I can’t thank Dale enough for being such a passionate ambassador for the sport and the content that the Dirty Mo team creates every week. Just wondering - I have prescription glasses. I should wear all the time but really hate the frames. What brand are the frames that Dale wears? Maybe I could be cool like him and hide my eyebrows if I had a pair. 😉 I work at HMS and enjoy listening on my rides into work. Thanks again, Austin 🤘🏼

    An Earnhardt fan
Born in 92 here North Mississippi grew up a die hard Dale Sr. fan.. besides my own dad, he was my hero. Still is. I remember being a young kid where i was, what kinna car my mom was driving, and everything when she told me and my brother the news. We sat in that 99 model camry white with gold down low and cried for an hour… after that we automatically attached to Jr… i remember being sent home from school in 5th grade for have a red “Bud #8” hoodie on. Little league and high school sports i was #3 in everything i did. I have a 5 year old daughter now and she’s been #3 in tball every year and she knows why haha. Every Sunday it was Junior nation at our house! Started getting to go to Talladega in 2007 about 13-14 years old and have been twice a year every since. Getting to see him win that race in 2015 was a once in a lifetime experience. Ive never heard it that loud in all my years ive went. People cried, people hugged, people chugged beer, but nobody left the stands for atleast 30 minutes… i say all that and give those details just to say Junior you don’t realize what you, your dad, and that Earnhardt name has meant to alot of us folks, truly man. It was like we had a family out there we could relate to. The everyday man’s man type people. Yall were and still are us. Its hard to find that in these newer generation drivers.. you could’ve easily retired with the fortune u earned and your family and went off into the sunset and stayed behind the scenes. But yet here u still are, talking to us every week. Telling them old stories, telling it like it is, and still the same ol Jr. you always been. To us, its almost like getting to hear from a family member everyweek and keeping the Earnhardt legacy and voice alive and well! You don’t have to do that, but you do and you’ll never know how much we appreciate it Junior. Hopefully one of these days ill get to run up on ya somewhere and drank one of them cold 55s with ya and shake ya hand and just simply get to tell you thanks for everything…. Sincerely, an Earnhardt fan… Gareth Pannell.

My Dad and I Listen Every Week
Years ago, my Dad found the podcast and shared it with me. That has led us to listening to each episode and discussing it. We have added other Dirty Mo shows to our playlist each week and enjoy them too! My Dad is a NASCAR fan from way back and I gained my love of the sport from him. The sport has changed, but our love of it continues. Thanks for giving us great content with guests from way back to upcoming!

    GREAT SHOW!
I’ve never been into podcasts before until I started watching yours. I’m a huge fan of you and your dad. Not only is the show entertaining but also great learning on the history of nascar. The guest that are brought on is awesome and super fun to hear the stories that not many people have ever heard. Got to watch you race at Florence in cars tour. Can’t wait to see it again. Thanks for everything you do.

    Worthy of a Peabody Award
Dale is an amazingly enlightened and intelligent man whose interviews are worthy of a Peabody. You GO my brother, this is outstanding content and I appreciate the your love of history and the Travis Carters and Waddell Wilson's you shared with us. This podcast may be about racing but each episode is a deep dive into the substance of the myriad levels of human endeavor, interaction and events our sport entails. All of which are handled masterfully. The interview with Al Unser Jr was in particular one that must be heard by all. Two of the greats. Neither a trial lawyer nor a psychologist could have asked better questions in a more tactful manner on a topic of tremendous importance.

    Feels like home
The past few years I’ve gotten more into podcasts and this has become my favorite. The breakdown of the previous race along with the amazing names and stories shared on here reminds me of going to the track as a kid with my dad. One of the best feels someone can experience.

    You’re the man Dale Jr!
I’ve always been a fan of yours since you first came to NASCAR. I enjoy listening to your show. I have around an hour and a half drive to work in Sanford and I usually can get an episode in before I have to go into work. If not I finish it up on the ride home. I always enjoy the content and the guests you present to your audience. Thank you Dale Jr!

    Enjoying the history lesson
Dale is a great interviewer asks the question and lets the guest answer.

    Great show
I’ve been a listener for years and love the show, the cast changes this year with Andrew on the show are not good. Andrew should stick to interviews or other areas he takes the show in the wrong direction too often just to argue with Dale.
  • J Colville
    Awesome!!
Being a fan of yours early in life and getting out of it, I lost my father suddenly, somehow I seen a ad about your pod cast and was very interested. Mostly about older stories and how bits an pieces came out about your father and how you dealt with that. In this podcast I’ve found help as silly as it is with grieving my father. Brings of memories of us watching races and going to them. Been an actively listing for the last several months and made it to the track again to watch you this last week. Your and awesome person with an awesome personality, wish we had more people in this world like you. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. This podcast really makes it to where you can really get a glimpse of who Dale jr really is.
  • Jimmybeld
    Dale Yeah!!!
Love the show man. Been listening since day one. I’m a old school fan, since the late 70’s early 80’s so I love the personalities from back in the day and the stories, especially the ones that involve your dad!!
  • thornhillm
    Thanks for all you do!
I haven’t watched NASCAR in years. I love your shows, most of them have guests from the some of the greatest days of nascar. I love the stories from the “innovators” !!

    The Good Stuff
I like Dale Jr. am frustrated at times with the sport and the direction it seems to be taking. I love short track racing. But the product is lacking in this department. But the insight we get from your programs is great an very entertaining. I love the guest segments. Especially when we get to hear the old stories. I’m only 41 but grew up loving racing. I was a Davey Allison fan. I don’t think Jeff Gordon would’ve won all those championships if Davey had lived. Keep on being an ambassador for the sport and keeping the old ways alive. Jr. Nation lives on!!!
  • dalejrfan308
    Great show!
I’ve been listening for several years now and the show continues to evolve and grow. The guests are always top notch and you can hear Dale’s genuine interest and investment in their story. Great stuff!! P.S. You need to get Dennis Setzer on the show. 😁

    A Buddy
I’ve been listening for years. I’m approaching 40 years old and I listen to all the shows every week. I’ve always followed nascar but the last 5/6 years I’ve gotten into even more. I was a Mark Martin guy until Dale got to cup and then I pulled for him. I talk about the show all the time to my wife and she’ll always say…you talk about Dale like he’s your buddy. I’m like, well that’s how the guy is. He’s a guy who can be buddies with anyone I think. I appreciate Dale being that kind of dude. Maybe you could help me out in convincing my wife to let me buy a legends or mini stock car and go racing lol. Thanks for everything you guys do! I’m confident your podcasts are largely responsible for my love for nascar growing. Good luck at Bristol!

    This segment makes no sense
Last I checked Dirty Mo Dough is its own show. So why on earth are we having a Dirty Mo Dough segment every week on the Download? I don’t care about gambling.

    Zak Brown episode
I have listened to DJD for a many many years. The changes this year to the show have been good though took some adjustment at first. But I have to say, as a Nascar, IMSA, F1, and Indy Car fan, and a fan of Zak Browns drivers in F1 and team McLaren, this was a great interview and learning something about people not normally heard from. I love hearing the history of Nascar but hearing Dale reach out to someone not in Nascar is always done well and very interesting. Great show and keep up all the extremely well work everyone!
  • LanceMadeMeDoIt
    Captivating
I’ve been listening to the DJD for years. My favorites over the years have always been the ones with the older fellas. Having spent a few summers with my grandfather in Kentucky in my younger days, hearing their older, gravely, southern accents takes me back to those days. Story after story I could listen to these pods everyday. Jr is, was, and will always be on my list of most influential athletes of my generation. He’s now ascended post driving career, to a content producing pillar of the NASCAR community.
  • BretHogan
    I Love Listening!
Dale Jr. does such a great job interviewing people who this casual NASCAR fan might never have heard about. It makes me want to go watch old NASCAR videos to re-live these great moments talked about in the podcast. A great listen for anyone.
  • CheddyCat
    Excellent
I love this pod, especially the interviews with the people who helped build the sport to what it is today. Ep 558 - Gary Nelson pt 2 is both fascinating and heartbreaking, and if you’re just going to listen to only 1 episode of this pod, make it that one. Jr, you’re doing important historical work here. Thank you and keep up the good work!

    Keep Mike Davis at home
I loved the show already but this season has been my favorite. It’s so much more enjoyable without Mike interrupting the flow of the conversations. Keep doing what you are doing.

    Must Listen to Podcast
My weeks are made by listening to Dale and his guests discuss the history and future of the sport I love. Dale is so knowledgeable of the sport and you can tell he deeply cares. From guest hosts to Amy or Kelley joining in, this podcast is inviting to everyone because of all of the perspectives of everyone in studio. Please continue to openly share your thoughts, opinions and ideas, especially Amy- who tells the best Dale stories!

Amy is as much of a national treasure as Dale Jr. Awesome!!!

    Amazing show
Thank you for the amazing podcast! My grandpa love nascar, him and is friends would always go to races all over the us. He recently passed in march and I remember spending summer Sunday sitting in the living room. No one could change the channel, even if he was sleeping he would wake up and tell you put the race back on. It’s amazing to hear your show and from all the drivers and team members that he used to talk about all the time. I have always loved anything with 4 wheels and a motor but makes me understand so much more as to why he loved racing. I can’t wait for the championship race in phoenix this year!

    Roger Terry
Dale Jr. & Team, I grew up in a NASCAR family. My Dad (Lee Terry) was a Holman Moody Engine Builder & Crew member. I listen to all your episodes and I’m thankful to hear from all your guests but especially the guests from the early days when my Dad was involved. Waddell Wilson mentioned my Dad when he was recently on your show. I was so Proud and excited to hear him mentioned! The stories told and history shared makes me laugh and yes, sometimes cry as so many memories come back to my mind. Thank You so Very Much for what you are doing to preserve the history and mold the future of the sport! To echo many of your guests, your Dad would be So Proud of You Dale Jr.! Roger Terry

    TRULY A NEVER MISS PODCAST.
I have been a huge Earnhardt fan since 79’. My father worked for GM and was a great friend of the late Randy Dorton. So I have been a huge follower of the sport of stock car racing for almost my entire life. When Dale Jr started this podcast I was immediately hooked. Not because of the name which I was a fan of but the content. Each guest that is on the show the bar raises. I laughed uncontrollably at the Tony Stewart interview, I had leaky eyes and a lump in my throat listening to the words from Steve Park, to the feel good stories from The Eury’s. I applaud the chemistry Dale has with each guest. This is one of, if not, the best weekly podcast that I support. Keep up the work guys and thank you for bringing Winston Kelley’s story. I love the old NASCAR history. -Don Mosley

    Show needs better
Show cuts off in mid sentence at the end . Love the show but whoever is editing needs to do better. Definitely miss Mike Davis he challenged Dale Jr ,The two kids on there with Jr seem timid. Mike was perfect for the show . JR needs someone to debate him not agree and if they do debate not just fold up in two seconds like the two kids on the show . Jr needs an equal like Mike Davis.
  • Bald tommy
    This show is amazing
As a newer fan to Nascar since seeing Dale race at Martinsville a few year ago I have learned so much through this show. Dales love for the history of the sport and comedic chops make my works days that much better. He will have guests on who I have never heard of and normally would skip but find out they are amazing people with amazing stories. Keep up the great work Dale and Crew, you too Andrew

New Pod Format vs. Old Pod Format
I want to start by saying I absolutely love the pod. I think I’ve listened to every single one since I discovered it in 2018. That being said, I can’t stand the 2 episode format vs the old 1 episode format. I think I’ve given sufficient time to decide one way or the other which version fits best for me. I travel and I still cannot get through 2, 2 hour episodes. The first episode of the week, I honestly feel like it’s a lot of rambling. I like that you recap the race and talk to the winning driver but I feel that, plus the ask Jr segment could be thrown in with the interview like the old way and still work. Work better even. 4 hours is too much time. The old pods could be that long but most were 2 1/2 hours and that was perfect. I could be in the minority here and that’s fine. I’m still giving 5 stars because I love the interviews so much and I love the way you go to bat for the sport. Thank you.

    Gary Nelson
I liked listening to the Gary Nelson interview so much. I listened to both parts twice. Excellent love hearing some of the old guys talk about you know just brings me back to the good days.
