Legolas123123Awful training advicePlease do yourself a favor and get coaching advice elsewhere. This is a sure fire way to plateau or get burned out. Some of the intervals he’s advocated for on the show are physiologically impossible if your ftp is set correctly.

Florida Neuro RNPerfect mix of science and practical advice 💪I stumbled upon this podcast - what a great compilation of the nerdy science and practical drills and advice to make each one of us better

may2018listenerPainful to listen toI’d argue the better cycling podcasts have two or more hosts. Some can pull off having a single voice/perspective. This is not one of them. It feels like being preached to. Not enjoyable, even cherry picking topics I’m interested in

RutrewoI totally geeked outRob gets across complicated training principles to where they make sense to those of us who are "slow-grokkers." Seems like a good dude, too. I was out of racing for 13 years. He's got me coming back again--I think!

Dan the door manThank YouBeen listening for a long time. I coach a group of youth XC MTB racers. I have been adapting much of your info to MTB and finding great success. Thanks for your efforts. It’s making a big difference for me and the kids I work with.

TomcncGeek out on the science of cyclingI really enjoyed listening to the science behind the topics. Jeff does a good job of "drilling down" deep on a particular subject. He also gives real world examples which helped me to relate.

Catlike RiderGreat - Applies to competitive and recreational cyclingCoach Rob applies current research to performance improvement in cycling. The why is great (although some of the details could be shortened) because it provides the sound scientific explanation as to why the advise really works. Coach Rob is very forthcoming with his successes and failures to further illustrate the value of his advice. In addition to performance there are many additional useful tips even for this older, recreational recumbent rider.

CyclingJamesJust push past the boring chatter & Ads...There's a few nuggets of decent info on here. Lots of random chatter and adverts in the beginning. Typically you will find the worthwhile content 15-20 minutes into the podcast so just learn to fast forward...

LegeströmThe best training-specific cycling podcastListening to this podcast helped me move my way up the peleton this season. The keys to effective training are thoroughly covered. Each podcast covers one or two specific topics in training, so it's easy to find what interests you specifically. Rob sometimes goes too in-depth with the science and physiology around certain training principles, but that just shows he knows what he's talking about! This is a must-subscribe if you are serious about training to achieve your potential.

InlineTomInformative for new racers but needs a little audio helpIt's a great podcast with a lot of information about entry level bike racing and training for it. He's a little prone to rants about things that bug him but they are at least a little entertaining. He's not exactly an elite racer (a Cat 5), so it's questionable whether he knows what he's talking about. My biggest complain is that his audio quality could be better. Some casts will be super quiet and you can barely hear it and then the music blasts you out of the room (usually the transition from the "opening credits" to the real content).

DogsRideShotgunGreat podcastExcellent advice. Love listening to this podcast. Got some good tips that I've put to use on my rides.

Jeffrey WattsGreat In depth coaching podcastI would recommend this podcast to any cyclist not just the racer types, lots of good information.

Jonathan_WickGreat podcastGreat cycling podcast! Informative and interesting. As a newer cyclist, the host is able to explain concepts in a clear and concise manner.
