OLD Grad in ParadiseMichigan and the HotseatAre you from VA? In what universe do you think UVA is the lead university in VA? VT is bigger, has more support and has a lopsided W-L record vs UVA going all the way back to when VT was independent, in the Big East and all the way through the ACC era. Yes UVA is an AAU school with a “public Ivy” rep and they are good in Olympic sports but come on man. Yes VT has had a down period since the end of the Beamer era but they are back on the rise. You could say the exact same thing about VT vs UNC. The only reason UVA & UNC are attractive to the B1G or SEC is for their current teams to get an almost guaranteed W, so they don’t all finish 6-6.

QEDalwaysHa ha not funnyShame on me for repeating the same routine three times now. I listened to the Big Ten season preview and rankings and thought I discerned a little bit of maturation of Braden. Whom am I kidding? I went on to a second podcast in my third attempt at trying to stick with this show and had to stop and delete it. As an example, a scandal is a scandal -- it's not something of which to be made fun. The fact that fans of teams that are not directly involved in competition with Michigan, for example, are upset with the lack of consequences is not "funny". It means fans don't like cheating regardless of where it happens. Perhaps it's a older generation thing. And his insistence upon using the term "student-athletes" is laughable on its face these days in college sports. You would need a ginormous magnifying glass to discover the "student" component of that term with most division one football players. Shame on me for repeating the mistake now three times.

tbhunter91UnsubscribeWere wrong about Oregon being better than Washington all of last year. Now, “Is UCLA better than Washington”? 🙄 Unsubscribe.

mydawgskipElite podcastTheir dream road trips are what set them apart. But they love college football like I do.

Snik TabPreview Magazine???I love this show. Thanks all. I have been a loyal CFB Preview magazine buyer since 2000. Can someone please tell me if there will be one this year? I have been looking and trying to preorder for weeks with no success.

NoleFan1123Celebrating the game episode in Oct ‘23Fantastic. Have to believe more CFB fans want this type of content. Honesty over talking heads, agendas and arguing for ratings. It’s a tired format for the real sports fan. Keep it up, new listener and loving the unique content.

NC Resident 22Excellent Under the Radar Podcast of CFBI always enjoy this podcast. I believe the two guests live in SEC country, but they both love CFB, and they cover the entire power 5 unlike many podcasts.

Dr DawgGuy with deep voiceIs delusional. Bama and Georgia aren’t as good this year as in years past. Transfer portal is changing everything. Quit saying that Bama and Georgia will beat everybody. Also, UW’s defense has vastly improved the last 5 games. 4 week’s rest for all of UW’s players to get healthy. Also, we beat the exact same Texas team in the Alamo bowl last year. We’re a much improved team since then as well. Time to come to the realization that UW is good

Reasonably good guyVery arrogant primary hostBraden is extremely biased against certain teams and certain coaches and seems deliberately to misunderstand obvious counter arguments to his takes that he claims are obvious if you “watch the games.” There are plenty of better college football podcasts that are more informative and where the main host isn’t super arrogant.

Cockiest1 2001Coagulation Versus CoalescingVocabulary 101 For Braden Coagulation: “to thicke into a coherent mass; to form blood clots” Coalescing: “to unite for a common end”

Don'tWorryBout itHacksYou sell a product I’m deeply addicted to and yet I can’t bring myself to listen to a single episode fully. I wish I could undo my download.

Austin WappesLong time listenerThis is the best college football show out there. I’ve been listening since 2016.

404MaconOfficial PredictionsI listen to your show and will continue, but your 6-1-23 episode discussing the ADs is not worthy of you two. If your going to speak about why ADs are let go for something in their background let us know what your talking about. Apparently, it has been reported on, so why are you both afraid to discuss the factors that lead to their supposed demise. It almost appears your being politically correct and worried about liability or not being liked on Twitter!!! I noticed your happy to discuss the situation with GA and no m not a fan. Again, the reason the gentlemen were let go has been reported on there cannot be a liability issue. One of you often freely shares is political opinions subliminally on a college football show, so why stop now. Please do not discuss something for an hour without discussing it. You are reporters, do your jobs please.

DukelvrGo deeper in weedsI usually don’t learn anything new after listening to an episode. Everything seems very surface level and basic. I want to hear steven talk about unlv offensive line or utah state secondary. There’s nothing unique or worthwhile to listen to as is

Heels in the SandBring back Mitch!I live in PA but I’m from the south and went to school in the south. Point being Im not a die hard PSU fan. That said, too many shows are about B’s displeasure of Coach Franklin. He uses a different standard for him than others. Seems too personal.
-
SimmonsweGreat show!Love the pod! Good content and usually spot on! #WV-MountaineerNation always listening!

JeffC5643Braden needs to stop being so self righteous!Steven/Braden: Enjoy your pod, Braden, I used to like you better at Rivals, stop being so self righteous about your college football takes. I thought you would have learned from Bill King. Share your opinion, but relax your pompous delivery and please chill with your constant cackling laugh, which we can do without. Thank you and appreciate the effort!

Carl JusticeWhy the hate towards OSU??One of the hosts has an apparent disdain towards OSU. Very weird with them being the #2 team in the county. You’re not sure how Day makes his team better? They had the biggest blowouts against Michigan in his first 2 years at OSU. Michigan had to go get a new DC because of Ryan Day. Michigan wins ONE year and now you don’t know Day’s impact on OSU? What a joke. I can handle bad takes. I can’t handle bad takes with an apparent disdain towards a team.
-
stixnstonezMehI have come back to these guys multiple times and keep asking myself why I keep doing so. Very shallow podcast that has quite a few biased takes. It’s content for content’s sake. In particular this Braden guy thinks he’s a football genius and really is unlikable. The other host is fine. I need to remember to stop coming back every season with this one.
-
Not a tween girlGreat pod, talk everythingI love this podcast because they aren’t slaves to the SEO. They talk at least 11 games in every preview, so they hit a lot of the non-P5 stuff relative to other cfb pods, but still give the big games their due. I recommend

asian bioguySoapboxAfter usc/ucla news broke hosts got on the soapbox. Don’t need a kecture

Hoosier BroMust listen for CFB fansAthlon’s does a great job on the pod. Sure, they spend more time on the big boys than the other teams, buts it’s a national pod. They usually touch on everyone. It’s a must listen during the summer as the season draws closer.
-
NateajvNostalgiaJust wanna leave this comment for you guys especially Braden, the intro sound is extremely nostalgic to me, always gives me good vibes from Summer 2019 chilling on my back porch listening to the pod. That 2019 season was good. Sometimes I click on an ep just to hear the intro. Take care

JeffreyTheGreekGreat jobThe answer is Clemson. My review: I used to think Braden was a goober but then I fed him a bunch of brown water and had him on my podcast and now I think he is an all right guy. This is a great college football Pod that should be enjoyed by all! @JeffreyTheGreek

HajelshvafsjBrilliantLove the show Braden has fantastic analysis and Steven is the all knowing oracle. Top 2 podcast and it’s not 2
-
burstahurstGreat analysisGreat podcast from knowledgeable hots who really dive into all aspects of CFB.
-
EggsmokeGreat PodGood coverage of the sport as a whole. Solid but not super in-depth breakdowns of games in season but then the discussion of other topics relevant to the sport (NIL, transfer portal, etc.) is also well-done.
-
Tessa-SavannahAthlon Sports PodcastI have listened to Gall and Lassan for about 8 months and prefer it over Cover 3. No hot takes. Athlon focuses on topics that would benefit CFB as a whole, and embrace changes/trends in the game—similar Athlon Magazine topics. Insightful, not concerned with criticism and being wrong. I purchase the Athlon CFB and baseball magazines. Highly recommend supporting quality journalism. Well crafted assessments of teams, which is far better than baseless social media arguments. Gall is accommodating in regards to being a guest on other podcasts, and I respect that.
-
JuicyTwosBest CFB podcast!UGA homer/SEC fan (except UF) here. I came to this podcast after hearing Steven on That SEC Podcast. By the way, GREAT hearing Braden on there, too! Anyway this show is great. Braden and Steven cover CFB better than the rest. I don’t agree with the negative reviews. The hosts balance each other and offer solid content. I look forward to each episode, AND becoming a more knowledgeable CFB fan. And now look forward to the CFB magazine! Thanks fellas and keep up the great work!
-
Barnaby StrangeneckNeed More ConflictSteven is extremely knowledgeable but way too conciliatory to Braden. Even if he agrees with Braden’s take, play Devils Advocate and challenge Braden’s position. I see reviews where listeners say Braden is negative and a jerk. Maybe, but if you take that away from Braden, what does he have left?
-
austinfootballclubGreat college football podcastQuality content
-
Niall42Great showAlways enjoy the show. Thanks!
-
ku fannnnyyyGood CFB Info…Steven is fantastic. Kinda wish there was a different co-host (Braden is super negative and kinda a jerk) but overall good show and CFB info UPDATE: Braden mentioned this on air and thought it was because I thought he was being negative about my team… dude I’m a Kansas fan you should be negative about my team… take a look at the last podcast you were literally negative about EVERY program lol

Fassett12Find someone who loves you as much as Braden Gall loves Braden GallHonestly, it’s great college football talk… with a lot of other stuff . Steven is interesting host, and inoffensive in every way (for better, and many times, for worse) Braden truly believes, with ironclad confidence, that he is the wisest mind to ever grace this planet. If only he had complete power of your life, the worlds problems would disappear. Braden’s passion for himself is only matched by his disdain for average everyday Americans who casually disagree with the infallible Braden Gall, the beacon of all truth and wisdom. Again- good college football talk- but how much “other stuff” can you tolerate?
-
soupy_Sales90Excellent and insightful PodcastNot sure what other reviewers are listening to, I’ve listened to just about every episode since early 2019 and never get “political undertones”. Accurate and detailed analysis that is delivered with the perfect duo of co-hosts. They give plenty of G5 love, expansion talk and a delightful deviation from the talking heads on TV. Die hard Iowa fan and yes our offense is terrible- it’s just empirical facts. Go Hawks!
-
jabamilkDid the co-host have his spine surgically removed?Braden is an idiot and is very frequently wrong, so it’s disappointing that his ventriloquist dummy of a co-host seems incapable of expressing a contradictory opinion. I’m tired of listening to someone so wrong berate someone that is clearly smarter into having dumber opinions.
-
KWill682ShallowAnalysis is so shallow compared to other CFB podcasts (Cover 3, Andy staples, even Solid Verbal.) I didn’t like Mitch Light, but at least when he was around he had some more in-depth takes instead of just parroting the party line. Oh Bama must be great because they beat #1 Georgia. Can you maybe discuss Georgia’s secondary vs. their front 7, the ways they have or haven’t been tested over the season, how Bama matched up against those strengths/weaknesses and how the other playoff teams might be able to take advantage of that? If I just wanted a glossy dip into college football, I would just listen to the ESPN podcast, they do a great job just skimming the surface for the most basic of basic fans. The only reason I listen to this podcast is because I do a lot of driving and some college football talk is marginally better than none. This is my podcast of last resort when I’ve listened to everything else.
-
5_0_35*This has become one of my favorite CFB pods! Great stuff guys
-
TatumvilleBraden curses too much — can’t listen with kidsI love this podcast but Braden swears way too much. Sadly I can’t listen to it around my young kids. But Braden and the crew do know CFB. (Yes, Braden, d—n and h-ll are still counted as cursing in the rest of the world — but I still love you!)
-
David&JanieExcellent format—solid contentSteven Lassen’s pragmatism balances Braden Gall’s tenor in such a way to make both hosts a must listen in the college football podcast world. I admit getting aggravated with certain takes Braden has regarding his power rankings and wish I could talk back but, admittedly, he is consistent, insightful, and will take the good and the bad with his positions. Steven has a true unbiased approach to his rundown of teams that makes it easy to believe he roots for every team on the docket. This is a great duo and my comments are not intended to disparage either. On the contrary, I don’t ever want to miss an episode because of what I’ve said.
