Mamacita FlacaLess than averageThe stories themselves are fascinating. I think it would be a far more interesting podcast if ambient music were used or sound effects or voice actors. We only get the host’s voice which is fine. but I want to immerse myself in these strange stories. Give us a deeper experience!
-
Shortcuttie630Awesome Podcast!I LOVE this podcast and only listen to episodes every once and a while because I’m so sad they aren’t making more episodes. The narration is great, the topics are fun, and it has wonderful personality!
-
SammabearReally interesting material BUTI want to love this because I love the topics. BUT my GAWD, I can’t listen to a pod cast that sounds like it’s being made in a dorm room. At least make it try to sound like it is a production. Get some interesting voices to listen to - license some clips, some much, or make it yourself for christsakes. I like the topics but listening to this podcast conjures up thoughts of Weird Science. All of this truly coming from a place of honesty: No one wants to hear you two bros have a conversation about this topic. We want to hear more interesting voices present the material unless you’re willing to take some voice coaching/acting lessons, and use some sound effects. Otherwise produce this. And for the love of god: Sound design, my dudes! Having ideas doesn’t mean you have to be the one presenting them, ya know?
-
aamittenBite sizeI only wish the episodes were longer, each one left me wanting to know more about each case depicted.
-
mablemoocowzzzzzzzStories are read with such a dull tone. Maybe add some music or get some additional voice actors.
-
wilfulgreenGoofyReading voice History research is so far off “Fibble “ minded ?!???? So much unknowledge of words Dud
-
dismalrapturePretty decentIt’s just a bit too narrative-y. Even just a light ambient or spooky music would add so much more depth.
-
hatenewsnapchatLoooveI’m only about 4 episodes in but looove this podcast so far !! My only advice is to have someone read through for grammatical errors before you record :)
-
trinarodStrange MattersAlways straight forward with complete information. Love it!

-
DMVigilNot bad - 3.75 starsOnly listened to 1 episode and enjoyed it enough, but I felt the narrator’s voice was a bit bland and monotone. I’ll take a listen to another episode.

Jessica "Littlefoot" AlbrechtPlease come back!I miss y’all! My favorite podcast!
-
txmxjLove this podcastThis podcast is perfect. It is true mystery story telling. No corny obnoxious side commentary or rambling; no tacky wine cackling that makes me abhor MFM and other typical “murder” podcasts. Their commentary is with intention and pleasant to listen to. Their dryness and weird Canadian accents only endear me to it more. Lol.

SUMMITIMMUSThe Grinning ManHello! I wanted to let you know of a friend I have. Maybe a year ago she was having these experiences that she would go to bed every night and see various monsters throughout her room in various spots doing various activities. Such as a cat on her windowsill, the cat was looking out the window and it had an eye in the back of its head. As well as a man in a suit (I think in a suit) but he had no neck. His head floated but was always turned away from her. No same monster appeared in her room twice. Except for one. That one would have its claw-like hands on the foot of her bed while it’s giant head, with a grinning smile and small beady eyes, stared at her while she fell asleep. Now I’ve chalked that up to severe and relentless sleep paralysis until I listened to The Grinning Man episode, which slightly altered what I previously thought! I am a Christian so I’m not saying it’s paranormal or extraterrestrial, but it makes my mind wander... Also, she named the monster Jeff! (Not joking)

James336Good stuffWhen’s new material coming?
-
pohleeceTime Slip episodeEnjoyable, well read story.
-
Hurrah4meFun listen , would be more interesting with a little ambient musicReasonably well researched content and diverse topics , delivery is a little dry so maybe a little music behind it would help .
-
OTAY OTWhy happened? No new episodes in a very, very long time

buddhatimNeeds a partnerOne of the more reliably interesting podcasts of its kind, well written and researched. My only complaint is the host, who delivers the material in a droning monotone, could really do with another voice to breathe some life into this show. Bring on a partner to add some personality and this podcast would be awesome.
-
totefayeLove you guys!!!Awesome podcast! Thanks!!!
-
SnowWhite64Great podcast for the strange and interestingI love this podcast, very interesting and strange stories. Also the host, Sean, has nice voice to listen too.
-
Crimsonlaw27I want to like it, but…I’ve listened to several episodes, but this podcast doesn’t grab me. There are lots of great subjects covered, but it just isn’t a fun listen. It reminds me of sitting through someone giving a book report in high school. There’s no energy or sizzle. It’s merely a collection of facts being read to the listener. I’m disappointed because I want to listen to the subjects covered, but it’s just not an entertaining enough podcast.
-
ZooooooooooooooooeSo good!!!Love this podcast. Such unique subject matters and so many cases that I’ve never heard of. Cant get enough!!!
-
OmanonerzillaWhere’d ya go?I need more Strange Matters! I’ve listened twice or even three times over to the entire catalog here... please, more Strange matters.
-
AlikmasGreat podcastHas definitely evolved toward the better
-
Vbn456Great podcast...I started from newest to oldest. Sean is a great single host. Not a fan of the co hosting and mixture of laughing during podcast.
-
Frank_SingsGreat stuff!Awesome stories and very unique as well. I’ve heard a lot of stories that I have not heard of or about on other podcast! Great stuff! Thanks!

YC12WHERE DID YALL GO????

AddictimgNot read well, and certainly not “discussed” as claimedThese seem to be interesting subjects, and they seem to be pretty decently researched. At the beginning, the reader claims that he’ll discuss subjects, when instead he reads a not so well written list of facts and guesses. He doesn’t read very well, as it’s obviously read in a cadence that’s rehearsed and annoying. I’m afraid I couldn’t listen to a full episodes without being bored or “itchy”. I don’t like writing reviews if they’re not going to be good, but I hope this podcaster can think of some other way to present his stories.
-
kolboldsRULEA Good ListenDecent podcast dealing with occult subject matter. The hosts are funny and seem to have a decent rapport. The subject matter seems to be adequately researched and presented in a terse, yet concise, manner. I am steadily working my way through their backlog and have enjoyed their material. I would recommend this podcast.
-
Jra4776Great podcast!Loved it!! I Just found this podcast a week ago & I'm now on the last episode. Can’t wait for more!!
-
Emilylaughs78Love it!I absolutely love this podcast! The variety of the episodes keeps it interesting. I especially love that they are to the point with the info. There isn’t a lot of silly banter like you find on other shows. It seems that they have stopped producing episodes, however. Nothing new since June. ☹️ The last few shows were also very “thrown together” which is in stark contrast to the earlier episodes. It sort of seems that everything was left up to one guy toward the end, because the others disappeared. And, now it looks like maybe the show has disappeared, too.😢
-
fine_honeyGreat listenLove the topics
-
BlindRiotConsistently QualitySpeaking as someone who enjoys a number of podcasts I can recommend this show unabashedly. Enjoy!
-
TrothboyA Bit Superficial, Buy OkayThese obviously young guys certainly try, but their "investigation" tends to be based on that which is readily-available on the Internet. Their comments and narrative are liberally spiced with Millennial terms for an obviously Millennial audience. That's okay. Podcasting, like real study, has to start somewhere.
-
Ala Ca Zammm!Amazing!👍😇❤️I love this podcast it is my absolute favorite I can not get enough of this podcast! The only podcast I listen to and I am always looking forward to new content and old content I had not reviewed. The explanation and episodes always keep me tuned and interested and it is an awesome podcast it is described so perfectly. I love this podcast!!!❤️❤️👏 🙏
-
Neener48Good podcast, could be greatI enjoy this podcase because the boys stay on topic without all the shtick and rambling. But where are you recording this, the bathroom? A bank vault? The audio quality is really lacking, I don't know if one of them is being patched in via sat phone in the Arctic? And for the love of gods, learn how to pronounce "subsequently", the "e" is not long. And if you're going to be doing stories from other cultures, find out how to pronounce the words correctly, very easy to do on the internet. Having said that, I enjoy the subject matter and I most always enjoy the story themselves. But I have to agree that sometimes it sounds like they are reading right out of an article, a little more prep time and practice and this could be a great podcast.
-
OstaraWikipedia’dI usually like this show but the latest episode (6/18/2019) is basically just the host reading the Wikipedia page for the Papin Sisters. Other longer episodes are engaging and interesting.
-
DasBichAbsolutely no flowThis guy reads like a high Captain Kirk. It’s painful.
-
jaymes C.Strange Matters PodcastsLike the subject matter and stories but the narrator or host Sean does not have a good radio voice. The “up speak” of his voice and delivery is not conducive to a smooth radio broadcast. He possibly needs some voice coaching. Sounds like a high school student reading a book report. Shame really, good stories.
-
ItsAaaaaangCan’t get enoughDon’t sleep on this podcast. The stories are creepy and some of them really make you think “could that be possible” I’m currently listening to the older episodes and the background music adds to the story. I look forward to hearing more “strange matters”
-
LouisSaltWould Recommend!Really good show! Down to Earth (no pun intended) commentary on mysterious and paranormal happenings with a healthy dose of skepticism.
-
Ipowers4Very creepy🏚🏚!This show is great 👍!
-
LizefbEerie and InterestingStraightforward and interesting. This is a podcast for those who lean toward the logical but are a tiny bot open to the unknown. From unsolved mysteries to monsters, Strange Matters covers it all in an intellectual but attention-grabbing way.
-
Yeah... Dos Cadenas! The Perfect Mystery/paranormal podcastLove the show. I’ve almost listed to every episode now and I am eager to hear more mysteries. Great job with the podcast, keep it going.
-
RavenNation1One of a kindLot of podcasts on paranormal, ufo, etc... but this one covers those plus multi dimension, time slips and more. Perfect podcast for those like myself who are into everything unexplained, **** was fast becoming my new favorite til the frequency slowed to 3 weeks as of now ****
-
Luc BonucciMy Favorite ‘Paranormal’ PodcastThis pod has a more eerie vibe than most of the others. There is background music/noises that help create this atmosphere, and the hosts don’t talk a mile a minute. The subject matter is a bigger focus than the hosts’ personalities, which is one of the issues I have with other similar pods. If you want an eerie and interesting podcast, without too much comedy and loquaciousness, absolutely give these guys a listen.
