I surely hope Chrystal Weimer sues the socks off of y'all for airing her story after her exoneration. There is no journalistic integrity in this.

I love this show. I don’t watch a lot of tv but I use to watch snapped so I love that it is now in podcast form. People in the reviews are complaining about the sound effects. Y’all do realize this is a tv show that was just also put into podcast form. The titles of the episodes are the titles of the tv episodes. They aren’t going to edit out sound effects or change the titles.

The stories are good. The narrator has a pleasing voice to listen to. But the dramatic background music is overwhelming! Turn it down. The background music should not be a costar in the episode.

I’ve only just started listening to this podcast and have already come across three episodes where the title, description, show, and/or concluding status update don’t line up. Please double check before you post!

Love the podcast but wow. I have to turn down my volume as soon as an ad plays. The volume difference between the episode and ads is terrible.

One of my favorite true crime podcasts. I just wish they had more episodes, I catch up to recent ones too quickly lol Keep doing what you’re doing, the stories make my jaw drop from the twists. I try not to look at the name of the episodes, that way it’s a surprise on who the perpetrator is.

I enjoy this podcast but 1. I wish the name of the killer wasn’t in the title. It takes away the suspense and trying to figure out who did it. 2. The narrator for the Wendi Davidson was absolutely terrible. The fake accent was almost insulting. The narrator for all of the episodes sounds like computer animated voice. Annoying at times. Overall I enjoy it though!

Love the podcast, but I do everything in my power to not see the title, which is next to impossible, as it’s an immediate spoiler alert as to who dunnit. Takes all the suspense out of it. Consider not crediting the murderer and put the victims in the limelight and name them in the title.

Tried this today and couldn’t get through a single episode. The narrator sounds like a computer. It’s very detached from the story.

I really love this show and podcast, but 7 out of 10 times the episode is mislabeled. This is the 3rd time in 2 days

The podcast is just audio directly form the show. It’s terrible. The sound for any police recording is garbled and if some isn’t speaking English there’s no translation. It’s so bad.

I like this show a lot and want to keep listening to it, but I can’t understand half of the audio clips, and even the transcript doesn’t pick some of them up, and they never explain or repeat what was said, even if it’s crucial information.

The episode title and description sometimes don’t match the audio/story presented. As someone else stated, the audio is inconsistent with Snapped presentation and commercials. Hope the production improves.

Love the snapped podcast. Full of so much suspense. The only con is that sometimes the episode titles doesn’t match the actual episode. Maybe it’s a glitch. Maybe someone can look into that?

Great podcasts…but I’m constantly having to turn the volume up and down. The commercials are way to loud I feel like they are screaming at me.

So glad it’s in podcast form!!!! Doesn’t get 5 stars though because commercials are SO loud but the actual show is turned down for some weird reason. I’m always having to adjust the volume.

The title of the episode was Sandra Jonas. The entire episode was about Lori Bembenek , except for the last few seconds. What happened? Edited: Theresa Alverez. It would be great if you would stop repeating episodes and also labeling them wrong… love Snapped, but about to give up on the podcast version.

The music (if it can be even remotely be termed that) is overpowering, unnecessary, insufferable, insulting, assaulting, and the list has no end. What an attack and sheer assault on the nerves. It covers the narration, it’s maddening, and it’s infuriating. It’s a mixture of the most incongruous sounds. It sounds synthetic and machine made. Above all, it’s stupid, cheap, and adds nothing. This podcast is unlistenable.

It i disappointing that the episodes never match anymore. Even more frustrating that it is never fixed and it’s usually episodes that have already aired. So many people have brought this issue to your attention, when will something actually be done?

Normally I would rate 5 stars but…..I used to really enjoy the show but I’ve noticed more often lately that the titles do not match the actual episode that’s played. For example, this week the title is Teresa Ramirez but the episode that played was about Winn Reed. For such a popular show and podcast, you’d think they’d pay more attention to the details but its happening more and more. It’s really irritating that such a prominent show doesn’t check all the obvious final details before airing their episode. I love when the title fits the episode but I’m gonna need Snapped to do better! It’s the small things that count!

Newest episode sounded interesting and I have never heard it before. I still haven’t. Episode says Theresa Ramirez but it’s actually about the murder of Shane Moore. Which I have heard. The last paragraph is about Theresa and where she is currently serving her sentence.

That was not the correct show under the title.

I am not interested in all the episodes, but often when an episode description catches my eye, when I start listening to it it is a completely different episode.

They can’t even get the titles of the episodes right. This is the second time I’m noticing this just in the last month with wrong titles for their episodes. How lazy do you have to be to not even bother to check if you got the titles right? It’s bad enough that you recycle the old episodes from years ago instead of working for new ones and getting paid twice. And worse that the volume shoots up to 11 for the ads. Just find something else do to with your life.

Episode is labeled Theresa Ramirez but it is telling the story of the murder of Shane Patrick Moore by his niece Tucker Reed. This happens often with this podcast.

Many of the episodes (not the ads) are really low, so you have to turn the volume up really high. Not really an inconvenience until an ad comes on and it’s deafening. Also, I’ve noticed some of the episodes are mislabeled/titled incorrectly.

Audio quality is always so quiet. Episodes get repeated under wrong titles. One episode was mostly in Spanish with no voice over to let the rest of us know what the subtitles would have been, skipped the episode as I never got the full story of what happened since I can’t speak Spanish

I like the show. I like how information is presented. What I find difficult is the volume of ads. Plus the woman on some of the talking ads is seriously hard to listen to. She sounds like she is slow like drunk or on Valium. Most of the ads are so repetitive that I almost had to stop listening. I do listen to others and then come back for a couple here and there. Anything more and the ad volume and obnoxious ad speakers get to me.

I loved the original narrator for snapped season 1-24, i only listen to those episodes you have available. The others, the narrator is not as good. And the episodes are not engaging enough. Please release more older episodes! That's the only reason why i rated it 2 stars. People complain about the low audio and this is true, but it's only for episodes with the new narrators. Please release seasons before s24.

The volume of the show itself is quite low, so you have to turn the volume up high to hear it. Then an ad comes on and blows your ear drum! This can’t be that difficult to fix. It’s a shame because other than that, I really like it.

I can’t listen to this podcast because its volume is mixed at half the volume of every other show, and when a commercial comes on at normal volume my ears are blown out. Too bad cause the content is pretty good. But I’m not in a position to sit there riding the volume control when I listen.

I am absolutely in love with this case. Although it’s sad and very brutal and cruel , I really love this case. Its very sad that her mom was killed because there were other ways to go around this. If you love this case , I would def recommend watching The Act on Hulu!

I’m thankful for the few that posted the incorrect title. These were the first ones I felt like WERE NOT spoiler alerts before ever listening to the podcast. I love this show, but part of listening to true crime is the mystery aspect of it. There is no mystery when the title tells you who did it.

I like the content and stories. You cannot hear the story teller and/other speakers so the volume has to be turned up. My ear drums get blown out every time a commercial comes on. Made it a few episodes but I’m likely not to continue listen because of it.

If you want to enter the big network podcast crime series you need to at least pay some colllege kids or recent grads some money to edit this episodes to be listenable, name them correctly and have some buffer between the ads and sound engineer fix the pitch of such ads.

I do like these podcast episodes and enjoy the content however whoever is in charge of naming and publishing episodes needs to be let go. The ‘Hope Schreiner’ episode dilemma is deplorable. First the episode isn’t correctly labeled on the on initial release. This is then “rectified” as the episode is rereleased with a new summary and the story that was originally in it’s slot gets a whole new publication. Then I go to listen to the episode and it’s STILL not the correct story! The only correct part was the ending which didn’t match the rest of the episode. This is seriously annoying and needs to be fixed or I will be finding another podcast to binge.

I agree with the comment that episodes dates don’t lineup , But I like the app, crime drama is intense, easy to binge through all stories

I don’t like how before I can start listening there are ads. Why do we have to pay to not have them? This should be a requirement because, ads at the beginning are really agitating. Other than that O love Snapped podcasts and the show!

The commercials are incredibly loud and then you can barely hear the show. Also, the episode titles don’t match the case you are listening too. Super frustrating.

As everyone else is saying the latest episode doesn’t match up. Looks like a lot of people wrote reviews days ago and they haven’t fixed it so that’s frustrating. My biggest complaint is the ad’s are much louder then the actual show. When I have to increase the volume so much to hear the host and then it goes to a commercial break they are obnoxiously loud. Should be an easy fix so do it!! I want to give this podcast 3 stars but cannot at the time of this writing.

I’m a big fan of the original series and the podcast. It’s a point of irritation that so many of the episode titles don’t match the actual episode. It’s confusing, especially when the whole episode is about someone other than the person on the title, until the very last sentence spoken which tells us that the actual person in the title spent 20 years in prison, blah blah blah. This is an ongoing issue. You have the resources to do better. So fix it.

Just how sloppy is your production that you can’t even match the title to the correct episode??? If you don’t care, why should we?

I thought I was going nuts. Having de ja vu. Like, I know I’ve listened to this. The titles are not matching and the stories are repeating themselves under new titles. 👎🏽
