I came across the crime and coffee couple last year when I was pregnant & would listen everyday at work to get me through the day. I missed about 3 months of episodes after having my baby in January & now I’m back to catching up on my favorite podcast! I love Mike & Aly! Love the banter in the beginning always cracks me up before the story. I recommend this podcast to all of my friends!!

I've been bingeing for about 2 months now and immediately had to become an Apple Podcast subscriber so I could get the bonus episodes. I was never really a true crime podcast listener but somehow ran across this and took a chance. I love Mike and Aly’s chemistry and being the same age, so relatable. Fun clean show with episodes that are well researched and presented.

I’ve been listening to true crime for about 6 years. I’ve heard all the mainstream well known podcasts, but I have to say Allison and Mike are BY FAR the best I’ve heard. Allison does an amazing job telling the stories of cases that aren’t as well known. The banter between Allison and Mike is very genuine. I appreciate how REAL these people are. 100% recommend!

Great podcast! Mike’s opinions can be infuriating often times- it’s okay to sit and listen to your wife tell us the story and leave all your nonsense out of it- but as a whole I do enjoy the podcast.

I’ve been bingeing for a few weeks, from the beginning. Finally subscribed for more episodes. I always feel weird saying a true crime podcast is great or some other glib descriptor, so I will say listening to CCC is time well spent. The subject matter is dark and both Allison and Mike show great tact and raw emotion in their narration. I follow them on YT, as well.

I enjoy Alison and Mikes discussions! Their dry humor never fails to crack me up. I especially like when Alison ignores Mikes jabs as if she doesn’t hear them 🤣

I’ve been binging for weeeks now- I love starting from the beginning of podcasts so i know their core and you two had me hooked. I’m currently listening to the story of Delimar Vera sooo i’m pretty far back, lol! You guys make me laugh out loud while working (i’m a house cleaner, i’m sure sometimes that’s concerning for my clients), always bring raw emotion to the table and never fail to bring the victims to light. Keep doing what you’re doing. PS. I’m 25 but i still take your guys advice to heart like you’re my parents, lowkey jealous of your kids!

Right up front, and in advance; 5 minutes in, I wanted to dislike this show for one reason and one reason only… Allison’s voice. BUT…. It’s just so good! Her candid, open, storytelling style is balanced out perfectly by her co-host and husband, Mike. They keep each other honest, while spotlighting the victims and details of each case they tell. I especially like that this couple actually notates the end of “chit chat” point in each podcast, giving the listener the option to skip it, if, for some reason Allison’s voice doesn’t grow on you like it has me!

I’m always looking for new true crime podcasts and I’m so glad I found this one. Since I found it I’ve listened every day. I usually hate banter but I think both of you are so funny and play off of each other so well. I also love the authentic reactions to the cases. I feel like you guys truly care for the people you are talking about. The research and storytelling is great too. Keep up the great work!

Appreciate that you two aren't covering cases that have saturated true crime. Not that those cases don't deserve to be covered. More so that there are PLENTY others that also ought to get press. I don't like gory or sick crimes...I prefer baffling ones though. Solved or not. My favorite are mysterious disappearances. I do not mean no body homicides where everyone knows 'who dun it' but there just isn't enough forensic or circumstantial evidence to prosecute. So, I prefer Mike's cases as they tend to be less macabre. Both hosts bring alot of details and draw the audience into the cases. And neither of you are monotone and just reading off a piece of paper. Thank you for TELLING the stories, your banter back and forth, details, and inviting us to listen in. ETA: I've listened to a ton of episode episodes now. And was thinking of becoming a patron. However, Mike's incessant sophomoric sex talk or telling us how he's trying to get Alison to have sex with him is too cringy. It's not funny. It doesn't come off as playful banter between a loving couple. It comes off to me as perverted. And makes me question how he looks at and thinks about all adult females. It's not for public consumption and comes off as very pervy because it's allllll the time. If I were his son or daughter or other relative or friend or coworker, I would seriously be uncomfortable. Because as a listener I am uncomfortable. Which bums me out because I like the show, I like the banter between them except for this one area. I love how supportive he is of Alison. Of the way she contributes to the family in or outside of the home, her preferences for things or the way things are done, and how when she stumbles over a word and/or says one with almost a question in her voice...and he reassures her that she said it correctly or helps her when she doesn't. And I really really really like it when Mike takes the lead and tells us about cases because I like the kind of cases he picks. I don't want to skip the banter. I also don't want to hear about him constantly trying to have sex either.

This is my new favorite podcast. I’ve binged entirely too many episodes without putting out and leaving a review, but wow, each episode has been great! Each episode is well researched and told with care and respect to the victims. Happy listening!!

Hear me out!!!! I ran across this podcast by accident several months ago, at first I was hesitant to continue listening due to I thought Allison sounded like a stuck up Karen (don’t hate on me please continue to read) but I continued listening and her husband cracks me up with some of his comments and I learned that I was wrong she is not a stuck up Karen, she just has a unique sense of humor and delivery. I think Allison and Mike are the perfect couple due to the way they complement one another and I enjoy when Mike says something that throws Allison off such as “Phallus” (if you know you know). So if anyone is looking for a good True Crime Podcast that can be serious with humor thrown in then give this one a listen. Keep up the amazing podcast!!!
