kAvN39WouyAs a lay church member, I appreciate the openness and transparencyCame across the podcast through one of the other 9Marks podcasts I subscribe to and started listening from the beginning. There are things here I think about or have wrestled with myself that we don’t really talk about in church and where it can feel like you’d be burdening people unnecessarily if you brought them up. I like how the podcast includes both pastoral and counselor perspectives and is also open and candid about things, not trying to hide the methods of management from lay listeners or those receiving counseling. It’s a podcast for anyone in the church to listen to.

Emint0894MultipurposefulThis podcast not only has prepared me for future counseling opportunities, but has helped me as I wrestled through the topics for myself!

Madi LouisUplifting to my soulThis podcast provides such practical help and hope-filled encouragement for those walking through life's trials or walking alongside others along the way. Thank you for faithfully stewarding God's Word and pointing churches to the truth about these topics.

CatdaddybuVocabularyHeyyy, I’m so very thankful that yall have done this. One big piece of feedback: people dealing with mental anguish to the point of suicide are dealing with an illness. In the mental health field, we use the phrase, “died by suicide” rather than “committed.” There is an entire chemical aspect of this (along with emotional, for sure). Again, this is a great conversation that needs to happen among believers. Part of that included that this is an illness and the people experiencing this illness need to go get help. The Lord heals miraculously in an instant, but he also heals through professional care. Love yall 🫰🏽

ACaptive1A Must Listen!Deepak and the crew will be a blessing to the church that seeks to faithfully nurture, care and disciple their members. In a pragmatic world that looks for easy answers to difficult issues, Counseling Talk will provide a truly God-glorifying Biblical alternative! I am looking forward to the coming episodes!
