'WEEI Afternoons,' featuring Andy Hart, Nick 'Fitzy' Stevens, and former Patriots linebacker Ted Johnson, can be heard weekdays 2pm to 6pm on WEEI.Hart, a Tufts graduate, joined WEEI in 2019 after nearly two decades at Patriots.com. With WEEI he has served as the station’s Patriots reporter, columnist, and co-host of the national ‘6 Rings & Football Things’ podcast.Stevens is a Massachusetts native with a passion for Boston sports. He joined WEEI in the summer of 2019 and has hosted shows across every daypart at the station, including “The 6 Rings Postgame Show” with Hart after every Patriots game.Johnson joined WEEI after serving as an on-air host for The Sports Hub since 2018. Upon his retirement from the NFL in 2005, he began his professional media career at CBS Boston doing pre- and postgame shows for the Patriots.

    Mego and Arcand> Jones
    Jones is an obnoxious hot take guy who talks over the two better parts of the show to try to prove he knows more or is smarter than Mego and Christian. Unfortunately he’s intolerable and the show is tough to get through because of it. I love Mego and Christian and wish it was Mego and Arcand minus that twerp Jones.

    Long time EEI listener and I will never tune in again. Cannot take Mego, lukewarm on Jones, and like Arcand. WEEI was my favorite station, 98.5 it is for me. Too bad what’s happened over there.

    Can’t stand the new hosts
    Have been a loyal WEEI listener for 20 years and have had hosts I like and ones I don’t. Typically on a show there will be at least one host I like. On this show it’s Mego, but it isn’t enough to put up with the other two. I now only listen to Gesh and Fauria (can’t stand the morning show) and steam the Rich Keefe show (he was done dirty but at least he has his own show). The producers who decided to change it up made a big mistake. At least give it to Fitzy and Hart. I look for the episodes where they are filling in and always listen to 6 rings podcast. Steer clear of this show.

    Was great, now Meh!
    I loved MMF, but this new iteration (Mego & Jones) just isn’t great. Adam needs to move to a city where he actually likes the teams. I’m so sick of him being constantly negative and taking the most outrages opposite opinions on every topic. It’s becoming to frustrating to even listen to. It’s no longer entertaining, just annoying. Bring back MMF!

    Whirlwind of opinion. Little to no facts.
    Loved listening to former athletes and broadcaster that could put you in the shoes or take you behind the curtains of your favorite sports teams. Now a common hour is Mego, Arcand, and Ryan correcting Jones on 9 of his 10 takes. Jones sprays bullets and usually a few hit, but you get left with enough bullet holes to turn the show off.

    I listen for Patriots discussion and guests so my comment based on that. Foyay’s Pat’s experience gives a good perspective. Meg comes from a different angle as well as does Mr Merloni.

    So much better show without Ordway, he never had anything to contribute only stupid comments. The flow is much more natural now. I’ll be listening a lot more now that he is gone.

    Overall this is a great show, I enjoy the banter and the fact that the trio often disagree and get into heated debate. My biggest complaint is that they don’t solely focus on the Pats. As a single sport fan, I don’t like getting notifications for the show, getting excited for new episodes, just to be let down seeing it’s a Red Sox episode…

    Glen Ordway is the worst host in Boston Sports Radio history . He doesn’t take anything seriously , he sidetracks the conversations and his voice makes me want to break my phones speaker. He makes it very boring. Zero stars 0️⃣🌟

    Real sports talk radio from individuals who played at the professional level orchestrated by The Prince of Darkness himself. Seriously though, this show breaks down all New England sports in granular detail while playing the Everyman effortlessly. Strongly recommended.

    The Boston sports media is the worst, need proof? Listen to this drivel(or any WEEI podcast). They try to be provocative, which just means being a jerk because Boston's media is supposed to be. It's like Fox News with sports; opinionated know it alls being morons. These pink hats are the worst.

    Get Lou off the air
    Lou was OK in small doses as part of the ensemble on the big show, but is just way too much to take for 20 hours a week. With the whole Penn State abuse scandel his remarks border on a call to mob violence. His open hostility towards show guests like Ivan Maisel from ESPN who did not share his "hang them now, ask questions later" viewpoint was offensive. It is obvious that he does not know what it takes to run his own show.

    Mut and Lou keep me well updated on Boston sports when I wake up to them on the west coast. They balance each other out well and it is often helpful to have the perspective of a former pro athlete. Favorite bit each week is when they bring on Kevin Millar. Certainly worth a listen.

    A great perspective
    Lou is a bit of a dick, but he is an informed dick. If you're a fan of Boston sports this podcast will keep you up to date with a fresh perspective from a former MLB player. That's a perspective that is often missing from the blowhard "experts" on other shows. I look forward to downloading it every day. I would have given 5 stars but sometimes they lag in getting the show up on iTunes.
