Illinois HouseAsian not AsianYou bring so much entertainment and insight to the show. You work so hard to keep this podcast going I think you need more help and support.

Smitty22078Favorite Asian PodGreat show! I’m just so bummed that I didn’t catch wind of this show back when it started. This show has made me laugh and learn about other creatives out there! Both sets of hosts - Mic and Fumi and Mic and Jenny are great. Thanks for the pod! Keep doing what you’re doing.
-
tyshcnensFAV PODCASTI love listening to this podcast so much!! I feel like I personally know Mic and Jenny and I want to be friends with them haha this show makes me laugh and makes me feel connected with being Asian because out where I am there’s not that many of us so I love being able to just listen to a podcast ABOUT being Asian. I also love the energy that Jenny has brought onto the pod and I feel like it balances with Mic’s energy so well!! but I will say WE NEED MORE SOLO EPISODES!!! (Just Mic and Jenny) PLZ & TY

dmsquare100Still One Of My Favorite PodsEvery episode is so fun, so great, educational, and I get a lot of laughs. Thanks y’all for all the years of work.
-
OstensiblyjennOne of my favorite pods but...Long time listener, love the pod but why the sudden switch to bleeping?? It really disrupts the listening experience. We love the addition of Jenny's ~*~feminine energy~*~ but hate the bleeping! Yuck! Bring back cursing openly!

cincitynobreThank you for sharingI’m sorry about your dad. I really appreciate that you shared it with us. I am learning so much about how I processed my own dads passing several years ago. Grief is heavy. You’re doing great.

Scientist in SFGoing where no asian-americas has gone beforeI dIdn’t know how it would transition when Fumi left, but Jenny is amazing and Mike continues to be amazing. I love how the podcast through its guests and discussions extends what it means to be asian-american, and by extension, what it means to be american. Keep up the good work!

ScottT_2011Nice. Not sure what to put here. This is my favorite podcast. I’ve listened to literally every episode since the beginning. At first I was a bit concerned about Fumi leaving, but Jenny brings a great new energy. I just wish that she would be on more consistently because it seems like she is away doing something every other episode and not taking it as seriously as Mic. Otherwise everything else is great. I didn’t realize how much the show needed a softer female perspective until she joined.

sourgorl2A podcast that feels like a coming of age novelIt’s refreshing to hear about the experiences of people veering from the Asian American status quo! I’ve been feeling stuck and have had this nagging feeling that I couldn’t quite put into words. Mic’s existential discussion after visiting a CVS in the suburbs and Jenny wishing that she could be happy in a traditional career and just buying things resonates with me deeply. I came for the comedy but will be staying for the capitalism lessons sprinkled into the pod.

juliamkimJennySo glad Jenny is on the show now… she is so funny and relatable. Mic is hilarious as usual.

Its_BanananaJenny you do you & Mic stay classyLet me keep my excitement down as I don’t want to come across as a crazyfan but this podcast picked me up when I was feeling the most down, especially during my boring WFH days. SEASON 1: Chaotic, raunchy yet hilarious, Fumi hentai and overall a bit bro-ey but weirdly insightful like a 2am convo after a night of smoking 420 and playing Mario kart for 4hrs with your drunk friends-vibe. The guests were amazing and till this day I cannot get over Margaret Cho’s episode & relisten from time to time. SEASON 2: Therapy-induced, f33ls, still hilarious and chaotic sometimes, but more like sipping wine around the bonfire and overeating s’mores at a big bear weekend trip with your best friends-vibe. Jenny is a whole mood (IDC what you say other reviewer who told her to calm her insecurities & anxiety SMH) and I think she embodies a lot of the many thoughts and feelings that Asian American millennials face in the US, but with the humor and grace that is uniquely Jenny. Mic leveled up frreal because his wisdom multiplied x10 & I think part of that has to do with the kind of conversations he has with Jenny and the topics they cover that maybe they didn’t cover in Season 1. They really peel back the layers of being Asian in Season 2 and break it down, which I haven’t found in other Asian-led podcasts lately. Love you guys and the work that you do!
-
MIA gggGreat and unique podI like this show a lot. I am not Asian and I haven’t missed an episode since it was recommended during AAPI month. The best episode was when Mike interviewed his mom. That was so good. I just wish Jenny would dial down her nerves, insecurity and anxiety- it drags down the energy of the show.
-
Kyle KonishiLove This Duo!Love the podcast and the chemistry you both have even on an off day! Thanks for the shout out! Nailed the race! Did not get the vibe tho! I’m more of a goth/emo/hipster Asian from the 90’s than a frosted tips one! Ha Keep up the good work!
-
Kf9012JuvenileHosts are juvenile and could only scratch the surface of the issues discussed.
-
Andremus lupinLove the Podcast!Jenny and Mic are a fanatastic pod duo. They tackle real issues, cover issues through a real Asian American lens, and the laughs keep coming! I will always have a soft spot for Fumi but I love this new version of ANA and Jenny is a great foil to Mic.
-
Bo&LaurynKeeping It RealThe spark is back!! Also, Indian Matchmaking season 2 is on Netflix. I expect you all to watch it and to have Pranav Behari back on to discuss it. He was HILARIOUS!!! That was you guy’s funniest episode.
-
Ono BoyKinda woke, kinda fun!Jenny & Mic are excellent foils for each other….and they always bring up interesting spins, on a variety of trending subjects! Give them a listen and get past their agendas …you’ll find good laughs and also often find yourself nodding in agreement! Better than the rest.
-
MKMama_76New favorite podLove the chemistry and dynamic between Mic and Jenny. They never disappoint. Thank you both for the consistent dopamine hits.
-
Chaka KhannotI love ANALove this podcast so much ❤️❤️❤️

Laxy_WuWay better than I expected!!!I’m asian and I get really skeptical about people talking about Asian stuff worrying it’s gonna be so cheesy and stereotypical. But this is so much better than that. The dudes are so hilarious! They deliver not-so-funny issues that usually stress me out in a chill and fun way. Yea there are a lot of stereotype discussions but they have perspectives that I actually want to hear. I think not only Asians but all races would be able to enjoy on some level. I love this show so much that I seriously want to consider changing my career to comedy or entertainment so that I will one day be invited to be guest in the show cuz I have so much I want to share too and they are missing a perspective of people like me, an international student that are pursuing this American dream. Idk if they have guests like me or not in the more recent episodes as I paused all my podcasts in 2020 cuz that year was just too much. But I’m finally binging and trying to catch up (So sad that Fumi left tho… Good news is he moved to LA?? I can catch him live now lol!)
-
YTDietrichGreat listen while on my long runsThe laughs are what keeps me going when I’m on a long death march - I mean run - or when I have to drive to North Jersey for work. Always looking forward to each new episode :)
-
LiondaStanfordLet’s go season 2!Loved the first season, but loving the different energy Jenny brings! It’s refreshing. Also, Old Enough = 🥺🥹😭
-
Miki_K11The podcast with every Asian who’s ever Asianed!Long time listener, first time reviewer! This show has always been super funny and if you listen regularly you’ll get to know pretty much every Asian who’s ever done anything noteworthy. Now it’s better than ever with Jenny as co-host! Fumi was cool but he could be real clueless sometimes.
-
Agnes of PortlandPoignant and HilariousI like the new duo Mic and Jenny. With Fumi gone, I wasn’t sure what the dynamic would be, but it is just as fun and entertaining as before. If you donate to their Patreon, they guess your ethnicity based on your last name. Normally that would be offensive, but on this podcast, it’s funny!
-
lanadelgrapeAwesome Podcast!!!I’m not Asian, but I’m dating a Filipino man and love this podcast 🥰❤️🙌🏼 #amwf
-
yinyangerLoving the new format/dynamic!Jenny is a great addition to the pod. Dynamic between Mic and Jenny is great!

celiag27Covid-positive ANAL says 10/10Hello hello, covid-positive ANAL here!! If you like comedy interview podcasts, this is an absolute staple of the genre. Start your parasocial friendship with Fumi and Mic today.

MtchmastersWordRufio Vibes.

Ryan KagsDiverse jokes coming from the corner of the classMic is that guy in your AP stats class who sells weed and Fumi is the guy who was too scared to buy from Mic but ended up smoking weed in college and realized there was nothing to be afraid about Mic in the first place. They met at a hometown bar post college and started a podcast about identity and porn. 11/10

dhsauersExcellent health and wellness pod✨Mic, Fumi, and Thomas Edison cured my depression
-
Kimberlee_OAn Asian American Buffet of AsiannessThis podcast is better than sambal spiced pork sisig spooned over a bed of khao pad covered in char siu and spicy maguro, served with a side of gỏi cuốn for your health and kuromame for good luck. With enough banchan to make your mom stop complaining about how expensive the meal is.
-
ilovethewizardsthe bestthis is the best review of the best podcast. you can tell it’s the best because Mic has this review tattooed on his body, emoji and all. what more really need be said? 😘
-
kimscicleLove these guys!So grateful for the laughs and the company through my sad pandemic life.
-
zzzminzzzI’d invite Mic to everything.Just started listening this year after they were on Feeling Asian. They’re both so funny. Addresses a lot of relatable issues while also being funny and never too heavy. One thing I don’t understand is why Mic isn’t being invited? Like Brian’s birthday, Fumi’s going away party…I love Mic! I’d love to have him join any get togethers
-
Night_CityI've got Asian Not Asian alll up in my butt!!I love these guys, been listening for almost a year, but they've been begging for reviews lately so I felt bad enough to finally do it. This is one of my favorite podcasts ever, I never really got into them before this. I'm half Japanese so I come here for the real talk on race issues, but I also like to have fun! So I come for the laughs, the cool guests, tips on excel spreadsheets and how to turtle in jiu jitsu. Honestly I have a parasocial relationship with them-- they feel like my buds. Is that sad? Take it or leave it but I always enjoy listening.

Lola Josh GlitterhornANA helped me get in shapeIt’s true! I was a lazy schlub before the ANA boys stepped into my ears. But then, in October of 2020, I started listening to this podcast (from the beginning) during my runs, and I actually started looking forward to running so that I could listen to more episodes. Fumi and Mic are hilarious together, and their conversations with each other and their great guests offer a balance between humor and deep thoughtfulness that, in the most entertaining way, toes the line of unseemliness in most cases. It’s been great following along with their lives, and I’m excited to continue the journey by tuning in each week. Disclaimers: - I am not Asian. - I am a POC. - This is the only podcast I listen to. - Now that I’m caught up and no longer have dozens of episodes to binge while running, it is also Mic and Fumi’s fault that I am no longer in shape.

bluegreensThis podcast grew on meAt first, I didn’t quite catch on, but I just kept listening. After a while, I started looking forward to their podcasts and it’s refreshing to hear their candid conversations. Bluegreenkthis silly banter that just reminds me of chatting with friends, but you can also hear the growth and maturity in their views and perspective change over time, which I appreciate and respect.
-
NiftyhoboYou guys need to step up the ethnicity guessingGreat show, keep it up, but you guys are TERRIBLE at the ethnicity guessing. It pains me to hear you make so many confident mistakes every week. I expect it from Fumi cause he doesn’t know anything about Asians outside of Japan, but I expect much better of you Mic!
-
thetrangdoI actually lolRe-downloaded the Apple podcast app just to leave a review. This podcast actually makes me laugh out loud and not just blow more air out of my nose. And that’s saying a lot because I spend a lot of time on the Internet
-
tunaninja2I was hoping to be the 1000th reviewLike any other lottery I never win…. But I love these guys. Hilarious, insightful and they feel like my homies ❤️🔥 I start out listening on Spotify, and then watch the rest on YouTube. Here I am leaving you a review because they’ve asked ever so nicely(several times). That’s how much I love this pod, I am actually leaving a review. I never do this. Goodnight 😴

Mikka.ForondaFrom your neighborhood FilipinaThe podcast I never knew I needed. Could do without the weird mattress ads though. Asians and non-Asians alike should subscribe!
-
samuelsleevesFumi’s TherapistLove the pod! Last episode Fumi mentioned his NYC therapist wouldn’t listen to/watch his comedy for professional reasons. Now that she’s not his therapist, any chance you get her to watch a set and review/react to it?
-
Park ItunesIt’s different and I love itI listen to many pod casts. Really like this one. It’s different and I love hearing their perspective on life as Asian Americans . Love the opening when they guess where listeners are from just based on their names. It’s hilarious.
-
arutawakeningMy guys!! Thank you for this pod, I feel seenAs a guy with straight Asian American energy, this is a pod where I can relate without questioning why I relate to it. It’s mostly funny, can get serious but still find a way to joke about it, which I feel that’s how I am. I first decided to listen when Fumi came onto No chaser and been hooked ever since. Ive been binging the episodes and idk why I’m determined to listen to them all but I am. It’s like going through a time machine especially the 2020 episodes Shoutout to you guys for helping me get through the corporate day.
-
