    Decent, but flawed
The guy mispronounces common medical terms, medicines, and body parts, which makes me think that experience without education does not equate to expertise.

    How?
The information isn’t bad but how many times can you read and hear the words pharynx and larynx and STILL say pharnyx and larnyx. I can’t trust it when you can’t pronounce the simplest of terms.

    Great resource for NREMT study
This is a great resource for NREMT study. That said, the speaker is the king of mispronouncing medical terms. I used to teach med terms and A&P; I just have to turn off that part of my brain when I hear the speaker butcher the pronunciation of a key term. Still, it’s a great resource for NREMT review and I commend this guy for creating it.

Good initially…not so useful once practising.
A good resource. As feedback for the shows creators: I enjoyed these, now I am practicing I’d prefer shorter sets concentrating on recap ahead of going on shift, or for recap on shift with colleagues. I’ve tried using ChatGPT too on shift for creating scenarios…it was an interesting exercise in itself.

Definitely worth the listen for students/EMT refreshers
This podcast got me through EMT school and through the NREMT. I started listening when I started class last year. It was easy to follow along because the episodes ironically lined up my class lessons. I appreciate the work the host does with breaking things down plainly so the listener and understand better. It helped me pass the NREMT on the first try. I tend to recommend this podcast to other students who do ride time on the ambulance with me.

    Best EMT learning
This instructor is clear, thorough, and speaks from real life experience. First these podcasts were free. Too many of us don’t appreciate your time and effort that goes into making these podcasts-sadly too many of us just want whatever we can get for free. I can understand why you had ads, to help pay for your time. It’s unfortunate that donations were not forthcoming. I would happily pay for a monthly subscription. People who work hard to share their experience and knowledge deserve to be paid.

    Acceptable
The information, especially the physiology, is overall excellent information. I can’t help but notice the blatant mispronunciations and additions of extra letters into some terms.

    missed it!
Three minutes of adds on a four and a quarter minute podcast. Could have used those minutes to cover the topic better.

    Nope
It’s basically a bunch of ads

    I love it
It’s great I’ve only got the short and sweet ones so it’s nice when I’m rolling into work and my LT quizzes me during the day cause I’m still a probie. Love it

    Helped me pass the test!
So l’m trying to get my NREMT back without having to go 6 months to school. So l’m doing self studying. I found this guy’s pod cast this past Sunday and read through what he had to offer. So l started listening to what he had published. Very informative and please note, he repeats things a lot. LISTEN and REMEMBER! It was great to hear repeats of words and meanings. I listened to lectures first then then block exams and finished last night. I tested today and PASSED!! Thank you so much for putting this out!

    Great EMT study tool
Clear, concise, and direct information to help you to pass your testing. I listen on the way to every class and arrive more prepared than I could have with traditional study alone (but you need to do that too! 🙂). These are also great refreshers when you want to prep for a course final. The “block exam” lectures are money. All A’s so far!

    Excellent learning tool
I started listening to this podcast the month before I started my EMT class. It has been great to give me prior knowledge going into class and an even better review after my class. To help me (and others) even further, I’ve been creating Prezi presentations to go along with the podcasts. I have completed up through lecture 6, respiratory system, and am currently working on lecture 7, airway management, ventilation and oxygenation. You can find the Prezi by Googling ' “Darren Winkley” Prezi "Public Safety Guru"

Very useful educational lectures for EMTs in training
I will be taking an EMT class in a couple of months, and currently I am riding on an ambulance as a probationary member. The lectures have been extremely useful. I have learned a lot, so I have a head start when I start class! I also plan to re-listen to the lectures as we go through each chapter in class to reinforce the material. Please record more lectures!
