Best Legal Podcast (no close seconds)
Probably the only funny legal podcast to ever be created. Listen to every episode 3 times and the jokes hit again again and again. What did they do? They did it well.

Very informative with a side of balanced humor
It’s a podcast about the legality of Presidential and Governmental actions, most of which the layman American usually doesn’t know about. Who knew that sanctions can be started for petty reasons, but the legal rules give just enough permissions to allow that pettiness to go relatively unchallenged? This is why the podcast has the acronym that it does. The dry humor helps to cut the tension. Blood pressure still rises with frustration, but at least the extra commentary helps listeners turn their mental gears more productively so it doesn’t get too infuriating. If the podcast team here wants to start a new season, they could probably do a whole season just by discussing the different States of Emergency that the US is currently going through. With their knowledge of the government legal system, they can make excellent informed commentary.

    Never change
When Tarik’s not tasting fancy wine or bread, he’s bringing people that sued him on to his podcast to explain why the US legal system rocks. Iconic. Andy’s great too.

    The perfect podcast
ALAB makes me laugh AND makes me think. I love how smart and irreverent and this podcast is and I’m so glad we’re getting episodes again!

The greatest podcast of all time
The erratic and infrequent update schedule only increases it’s mystique. Here’s hoping for more Coach in the future; he seems like he’d be a great guest for whatever the topics of judicial misconduct or family court come up.

    The only law podcast
Well, maybe 5-4, too. But this is what you want: some grizzled professionals spilling that tea on institutional rot and crazy lawyers.

And they’re back!! Even if just for a one off.
Edit to original review to add: I was having such a crap afternoon. Actually having to do with an uncomfortable meeting I had today with a lawyer and my 2 brothers. So this is kind of perfect. Seeing this episode made me smile. Muah! They’re really good at explaining what’s actually happening with common topics. By learning how the law works with these situations, it really gives you more depth into what’s going on. It’s one of my favorite podcasts to listen to atm. I immediately went through and listened to all of the episodes available when I discovered it a couple weeks ago.

    Where is the ALAB crew?
My bet is that Alan Dershowitz’s hit crew stuffed them all in an unmarked van after numerous defamation claims and C&Ds were filed. These guys are heroes. I miss Andy’s maniacal laughter and Tarik’s wise scornful takedowns. Tim, sweet sweet Tim, he was so young, so full of life. All the crew was gone too soon from this world. RIP homies.

    Fantastic
If Charles is going to be back, it needs to be mandated that he not appear on at least 25% of future episodes.

too many people having fun with the Law. they dont respect the Supreme Court, Jeffery Epstein, or the Omegaverse. im a Circuit Court judge and i have ill see that they are all removed from the Bar. however, the theme song's pretty good. . .

10 stars for all, though some more than others
love these episodes, though for this latest one, I felt the focus on the overall sociology of the perpetrators ignored the actual event—five deaths, police complicity at all levels of authority, intentions of many of the perpetrators (as indicated by the erection of a gallows, the “kill” various-people-chants, the armaments they carried, the beatings they performed, the history of some of them of violence), the delay by pentagon employees to deploy the national guard, etc.—that I think needed somehow to be woven into a discussion of the absurd derangement of the invasion of the Capitol.
  • Zuri Bella
    Meh
Good in depth legal perspective on lawyers and judges. Very flippant, out of their depth when covering topics that touch politics/white supremacy/sexism.
  • Bestfriendsclub
    podcast good
    good podcast imo
