The legacy of Michael Brooks is alive, and we’re all better off for this show existing.

Recently found this show. Learning a lot so far. I think YouTube is its main platform and some clips may work better there. But I like podcasts and this show is still a great listen.

Hard to listen to all the “like”s and “you know”s and speed talking. Three “like”s in one sentence?

I like their relaxed voices and it’s smart and funny but not obnoxious like some left podcasts these days.

Matt and David are in touch with movements on the ground and political actors - not politicians, necessarily - who are working to create a more equitable future. Their show is an articulation of the theory that accompanies practice. Intellectual stuff rooted in grassroots organizing. This show is indispensable, awesome.

I love that Matt and David have took up the mantle from Michael and are doing good work. I do have a technical critique though, for some reason whenever Matt speaks it creates some popping and crackling that can blow my ears out when I have headphones on. Plus it’s extremely distracting. Content wise I love it and I’m not surprised they are doing such a good job.

I appreciate the calls to deeper action. Left is best!
