    Disappointed with the guest
I used to love this podcast but I am very disappointed they had Taylor Marshall on this time. If there was a bishop of the internet or inter webs , then he is one to excommunicate. I will pray for you and hope they do not go to the schismatic side of view. Next time I suggest having an actual expert and not a podcaster.

    Turning into grifters
Taylor Marshall? Really? The “doctor” has been caught lying about The Pope on multiple occasions and this show platforms him. Bunch of heretics

    Always worth the listen
Even if the title seems lame I have YET to be disappointed by an episode. I do miss father- what happened to him? Much love from Texas

    Excellent podcast .
I’m a cradle Catholic, attended Catholic school, university educated, and I’ve attended countless catechism classes lectures at the University of Chicago, my family and friends consider me a strong practicing Catholic, in other words, this podcast is a great way to learn more about what Catholics believe . Deo Gracias ! All Glory to Jesus !

    Great Show
A great nonthreatening way to learn more about Catholicism. All three guys (both Ryans and Father Rich) and their guests take the Faith seriously but not themselves, which makes them and, thus, Catholicism approachable. Plus, their information is accurate so they are credible. I wouldn’t miss an episode.

    Great show
Love listening to this podcast on long drives, especially when I’m anxious. I love the mixed in prayers and reminders that everything comes back to how god is love and Jesus is constantly saving us. God bless!

Fun way to learn more about your faith!
I’ve been listening to the show since it started. Although sometimes off-topic, the Ryan’s and Father always make learning more about your faith and your walk with Jesus a fun time! Would absolutely love it if you guys would come up with something for school-age children similar format. continuous prayers for Ryan and his wife Jen and their children that God grant them the miracle of healing and love! 🙏🏽 God Bless You All~

    Maybe it’s me…
But I find the sound quality inconsistent and at times, unbearable. Solid show, but I often find myself changing to a different podcast, simply because of the bad mix.

    Should be ashamed
I’ve been a very occasional listener, looking to better inform myself as a Catholic Christian and enrich my spiritual life. There are over a billion Catholics in the world, so it didn’t particularly surprise or bother me that the hosts’ spirituality is different from mine. But this last episode and the bizarre references to Muslims was so unnecessary and had such bigoted undertones equating Islam with violence that I have to unsubscribe. You should be ashamed to flippantly propagate this notion among your listenership.

Fr. Richard is a Hypocrite and Liar
Fr. Richard was just removed from his church in Florida for sleeping with a parishioner and having an ongoing affair for over 2 years. As a devote Catholic I am embarrassed by this podcast and they way they speak so flippantly about important topics. I always thought they seemed off in their views and what they said and it all makes sense now. This podcast should be ashamed.

    This is harmful to people
This show is harmful to people of other religions and they don’t care how they are effecting others.
  • kenhagen
    Why
Why do we have to keep saying “oh the pope didn’t mean to say that”.

One of the best podcasts out there
Very knowledgeable! Highly suggest this Catholic Christian podcast to anyone searching for God or wanting to learn more.

Generally a 3 but after the Joe Rogan episode 2
I keep this podcast on the back burner for the occasional interesting topic. But the episode on Joe Rogan (Bill Burr was in it also) started off on the wrong foot, they sounded very condescending, and pretending to have sympathy for his suffering from his childhood trauma but they went directly into Joe’s bad takes on religion. When I first saw the episode in my queue I thought, “really this is what you want to talk about?” But I gave it a try and y’all totally missed the mark (and I listened to the whole episode). So much so that it prompted me to write this review. Joe Rogan’s experience is the experience of many other people who have left the Church and if they are listening to this podcast I don’t think they were given anything other than, Well they are immature in faith because they were probably hurt by the Church. Ok so what. If you listen to Joe Rogan you probably already know that. If you don’t listen to him, your probably thinking, why should I care about Joe Rogan’s take. Anyways, I think this episode should have been shelved or approach differently. Should have been pastoral out the gate. Pointless. Missed the mark.

    Question on Papal Authority
I really enjoy listening to you guys and thank you for putting the effort in to making a quality Catholic based podcast. As a convert from Protestantism, my only feedback on the most recent episode regarding difficult teachings of Catholicism is that I still believe there is clarification needed regarding Papal authority. Specifically, what are Catholics to do if hypothetically in the future, there was a heretical pope that pronounced a mandatory declaration that all Catholics are to accept abortion as morally acceptable, or that homosexual marriage is morally acceptable. Clearly, these teachings would be heretical, but if we embrace fully the concept of people infallibility, then it seems there would not be a good option for Catholics to follow. More so than the lineage of the pope, I feel that this is the bigger stumbling block that most protestants have regarding the papacy. Any feedback on this question would be greatly appreciated!

    Tinder Ad during 3/25/24 Episode
I was just listening to the episode on 3/25/24—The Most Controversial Catholic Teachings—one of the controversial teachings was regarding premarital/extra marital sex…and they were talking about how easy it is with apps like Tinder, etc….then it cut to a commercial break—and it was literally a commercial for TINDER!! I laughed. I don’t know if The Catholic Talk Show has control over these commercials that play during their podcast, but it seems to me that is one company that shouldn’t be advertising during this podcast….just my two cents. Otherwise great show and content!

After listening to an episode, I always wish I could be in the congregation of one of your parishes listening to a homily. I would imagine you connect so well with your church family. Many thanks for your episodes. ~Julie S.

    Prayer episodes
I really enjoyed the prayer episodes. I love learning new prayers that have special meaning. Your show is uplifting and easy to listen to. I enjoy Catholic shows that are sermons but sometimes it is nice to just learn and laugh. I am trying to get away from so many political podcasts and this one is refreshing. Thanks!

    👎🏻
Once again, Catholics fail to see the point of God’s love. Guys like this, and opinions like this, are the reason I left the Church and can’t get back. While Americans become less and less religious and the Church continues to decline in followers and relevance, guys like this use exclusionary “bros club” attitudes to drive people further and further from God, especially with their poorly hidden political attitudes. I’m really disappointed that one of the hosts is a priest… but then again, I guess I’m not surprised. I recommend they re-read the Gospels, listen better to their Pope, and humble themselves so they can spend less time plugging their merch and subscription levels and more time serving the Word.

    Awesome
Your zest for the church and your Catholic faith is genuine and contagious. So much fun to watch it listen to. 👍🏻God bless all 3 of you and your team who help put these episodes out.

    Returned to Faith
Having lived away from God for most of my life, when HE called me back, I found this to be an invaluable tool to reintroduce me to faith. Just the right mix of humorous piety to hold my attention without sanctimonious virtue-signaling. Relatable and human. Most entertaining Catholic-content since Mother Angelica. Keep up the great work!

    Great show!
Just started this podcast from the beginning and am loving it! Great source of information, I’ve been Catholic all of my life and I’m learning so much I never knew before. They’re able to give you the facts with some laughter along the way.

    Our Lady of Guadalupe
I just finished listening to episode 14, 8 Astounding Facts of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and it was fantastic. I will be taking my young daughters, this week, to a Silver Rose ceremony held by the Knights of Columbus who will be visiting our parish and I was looking for ways to explain to them. Thank you so much!!

    So cool!
After coming back to the church after 20+ years. I found these three knuckleheads (nothing but love guys) they make me laugh, think and cry. If you listen to these guys you’ll know that the Church is so cool. I needed this before I left the Church. If I could give you a 10 I would. Thank you all that you all do. Vivat Jesus!

    Great conversations
A fallen away Catholic, I find myself being drawn back to the Church by these talks. But, I’m gay so sadly, like so many of my friends, I’ve learned I’m not as welcome as God’s other children

    First timer response
Sorry guys but you have missed the message of Jesus. He cares not whether you genuflect toward the tabernacle or toward the altar. He cares not whether you do or do not hold hands or exchange the Peace of Christ with EVERY PERSON in the congregation Your judgemental attitudes are discouraging in that you have missed the real message. It’s not about the externals but rather about the internals. We will not return as viewers.

    Fun, informative show
Hello, will you please make a shirt that says “I’m gonna bless the ocean.”? I will buy it. And put Father Rich’s picture in front of the two Ryan’s. Thank you, Kari O’Dell

    Thanks
I am thankful for father to be able to do things like this for communities in need of more outreach and faith.

    Excellent Program!
A must for Catholics. I discovered the show on YouTube just today and this is great stuff. I’m a candidate Catholic currently going through a Catechism in a year program, but really just prepping for RCIA in the fall. I’m learning a lot from the few episodes I’ve seen. Well done, Fathers! I will keep you in prayer.

Great, but not what it used to be
I’ve been listening from the beginning, and I really enjoy and appreciate Fr. Rich, Ryan, and Ryan. Like a great TV show, you really connect with these guys and feel like you know them. However, the show has taken a turn for the worse. Instead of hearing the genuine and hilarious banter between the hosts, we are now hearing interviews with guests and/or paid sponsors on weekly basis. The authenticity of the show is waning. As an editor and journalist, I know readers often identify with a writer or columnist, and love a well-researched story. Readers don’t love the “Q & A” format because it’s more work for them, and less work for the author. We came for the hosts. We want them to do the research and talk about it. Ask the questions off the air, synthesize the answers, and discuss them on the air. I really hope the guys stop using guests to provide the info. We want to hear from you. We fell in love with your personalities and really enjoy the back and forth. Please get back to your roots! The three of you is enough. It’s when you’re at your best.

    Great Podcast!
Recently came back to the faith and I found this podcast. Grew up Catholic and this show has taught me much more about the faith. I have been listening to past episodes and I love these guys. Omg! I was in the car by myself laughing so hard at the 5 Things I Would Change About The Catholic Church If I Was Pope. Seriously you guys are great. Thank you for a great podcast.
  • Vintagelove219
    Love it!
With me being a new catholic. With zero information about any religion/ faith. Almost a year coming up! Still so many questions I have about the faith and why things are done and said etc. this amazing podcast answers just about all of them! Highly recommend! Very funny too!

    Miracles
No doubt you know this by now, but in your episode on miracles you reported that AB positive blood type is the universal donor. It is not. O negative is the universal donor blood type.

    Suggestion
Would love to hear an episode about catholic guilt, what it is, where it comes from and how to combat it
  • 143Lisa
    Unfortunate
It’s very sad and unfortunate that you support Elon Musk who thinks it’s a laughing matter that an 82 year old man (husband of the speaker of the house) was brutally attacked and the person that did this attack wanted to kidnap and kill speaker Pelosi if he found her. I really did enjoy your show, but can’t listen anymore
  • NSardines
    Funny and Informative
Love listening to the hosts discuss aspects of the Catholic faith. They use humor and banter to approach topics that can be challenging.

I’ve been following this for years now
Their 2018 episode on Guadalupe motivated me to make the trip to Mexico City (this is probably my favorite episode, I’ve shared it with friends going there). They are fun and entertaining to listen to while educating me on various issues. Father Pagano is a great priest in real life too. Thank you for this ministry, I pray it continues for a long time!

    Movie Priests
I loved the episode on movie priests. Thank you for including “Father Bing”! He was the best! There is one movie priest you forgot, in my opinion, and that is Karl Malden in “On The Waterfront.” He was nominated for an Academy Award for the movie. “This is my Church!! And if you don’t think Christ is down here on the waterfront, you’ve got another guess coming!” GREAT movie, and a great portrayal of a priest!
  • JacekZadlo
Not recommend for any true catholic.
I don’t where these guys are coming from, but laughing in the middle of singing Agnus Dei is just “mildly offensive “ to any person that takes it seriously. On top of it how what they talk about has anything to do with Jesus or His teachings or His Church.
  • Hpluv
Abortion rights on a Catholic show???
This was the first podcast I listened too and the first thing I heard was a commercial for abortion rights. I hope this was a mistake that you will correct. Is the money you are getting from this advertiser worth your soul? Do better.
  • TrishMc234
    Pro Choice Commercial
I was shocked and horrified to hear a pro-choice commercial from “All Above All” in the middle of your podcast highlighting Jesus‘s best sayings. I’ve listened to so many of your podcasts as well as watched your show on the CatholicTV app. I will never watch or listen again. This is disgusting and you ought to be embarrassed!

    Great podcast
I look forward to listening to the guys on my Tuesday morning runs. For informative and love the banter.

    Keeping things real

    Laughs and Love
I listen to this great show weekly! I love listening to you guys! You are funny but respectful!! Well researched and informative. The critic review is hilarious! Don’t change the platform. I truly believe Jesus taught the same way, hanging out like an average person being real. I think you do a great job of getting the message across and I don’t think you are ever disrespectful to our beliefs.
