Rob’s microphone was much louder that Scott’s. It was very hard to understand what Scott was saying. Love the content but they need to make sure both microphones are at the same volume.

Praying For All The Souls Of The Whole World
I take my Faith very seriously, and always look forward to learning new things about my Faith, and why I personally believe it is the one faith that is truth alone. I look at Scott, and I think that is who I want to follow. With nowadays celebrities and presidents and people who only care about power, never your own well being, is not the person I want to look at, and want to follow. Scott Hahn, Ian Murphy, Bishop Robert Bairn, Father Mike Schmitz, Jesus Christ Himself, these are the people who they should be following. They should be the so called celebrities of the world! Why? Because they care for you. They desire Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. My family and I may joke about Scott Hahn being the celebrity of the Catholic Faith, but no matter how many prayers you pray, God will hear them, and will respond! God Bless You All!

    We need more Scott Hahn
This podcast is helping me to understand and appreciate Catholic faith. Every episode teaches something important that I somehow missed growing up (not paying attention, not ready to hear it). Scott Hahn is doing good work and sharing his knowledge with us all.

Inspiring me to study theology formally
I want to be Scott Hahn when I grow up... never mind I’m 40 and have a PhD from MIT. The knowledge, clarity of thought, enthusiasm, and depth of faith keep me coming back and only feeling disappointment when I find a new episode hasn’t arrived yet. Praying for you all the time Dr. Hahn.

    Dr.Hahn
I recently read the book Rome sweet Rome by Scott and Kimberly Hahn. It was given to me by the deacon at my Parrish. Last week I signed up for rcia and the first book I was told told to read was this. Since I’ve have searched everything about Dr.Hahn and this podcast lives up to everything I have read and then some. Thanks for put this out in the world and helping me better understand how to be a good catholic
  • santaiglesia

    One of a kind!
I initially heard a lighthouse media talk from Scott and then another with his wife then read several of their books. I now found them on podcasts! Growing up evangelical I converted to get married to my husband but even as an evangelical I never fully understood about God’s love, why the rules were important. I think if anyone seriously sought real truth and listened to the historical facts, the Bible explained in context with what was said would be on fire with the Lord. It’s taken me about a decade, exponentially grew the last 5 years, but I am a different person. I really believe what I say I believe is really real. Listen to this and his wife’s podcast. Jeff Cavins is also another do not miss game changer. Fr Mike Schmitz-they have helped me grow into who I am today. I’ve never met any of them but feel a true friendship for them through God. I am positive of God’s love and see His blessings all the time. Immerse yourself in their wisdom and watch how God works in your life. Subscribe to their podcasts you’ll be so glad you did! Tammy

    What Mother Angelica Taught Me
What an inspirational episode, What Mother Angelica Taught Me. It not only shows the incredible wisdom of Mother Angelica but it illustrated the humility of a great scholar. Thanks Dr Hahn for these podcasts WF

Feeling a Kick from this podcast
I love this podcast. Dr. Hahn’s talks, guests, and topics are so incredibly timely and they always seem to embolden me or give me a “kick” from the Holy Spirit to get up and do the work. One of the best podcasts for help in our mission of evangelization and building us up to go out, and it has substance - it isn’t flowery or surface Christianity. It gets to the root and calls us forward.

I really enjoy listening to Scott Hahn. I particularly like his discussions on actual scripture and faith as opposed to his interviews of people and what their studies and achievements been.

    Change of Direction
It started out fantastic, bringing back old talks with tons of substance, a veritable information overload for many, and it was awesome. But then something changed, and the last 12 episodes are just half hour long book advertisements with nothing of substance anymore. The closest we get to a lesson is why we should buy this book. It’s a very disappointing fall.

    Love this podcast !
I totally enjoy, Dr.Scott Hahn’s RTE podcasts, unfortunately sometimes I feel it’s a graduate level class when I s/b in a entry level “beginners” class but they are still enjoyable. I look forward to his future podcasts hopefully I will be able to understand them more. It’s not a knock on the teacher it’s a knock on the student ( me)!

    Deep theology made relatable
Dr. Hahns depth and breadth of understanding of the scriptures is immense. Yet he is able to make it relatable and comprehensible to the average layman. His speaking voice adds to the gravitas and sincerity if the topics without being overly emotional. Yet one can hear his desire to transmit his knowledge to his listeners. A treasure for the Church. And Kimberly is an absolute doll too! Again relatable, personable and knowledgeable. Really they both have allowed us inside a deeply personal aspect of their lives. A beautiful testament to the sacrament of matrimony. Thank you both.

    Edifying and Educational
I absolutely love Dr. Hahn’s podcast. I am a new listener and a cradle Catholic. Despite considering myself fairly knowledgeable about my faith, I always find myself learning something new from Dr. Hahn. His biblical knowledge is unparalleled, and I appreciate how deep he dives into the minutiae of language and context in the Word of God. His passion for our faith is inspiring and helps shake me out of my all too frequent tendency to take my faith for granted.

    Thankful!
So beautiful are the incites to scripture and living a Christian life. They are all engaging for any person in any stage of life or vocation. Also the audio teaching at the St. Paul Center makes The Bible “sing”. If you never thought you could read The Bible, start with a teaching, and just follow it where ever it takes you.

Wonderful Justification of Catholic Teaching and Theology!
Scott Hahn is thought provoking, concise, and biblical in his lectures presented in The Road to Emmaus. I recommend all Catholics, and those interested in Catholicism who need concrete scriptural support in their considerations of The Church, to listen to this podcast! As a Protestant convert (who actually attended church where Scott Hahn’s brother-in-law is the pastor) I have found Scott Hahn to be the clear voice that has guided me on my theological journey through Catholic Doctrine. Five stars!

    Simple, Brilliant
Thank you for putting this talk together. I’m not sure what original seminar or conference this was taken from, but the content is great. It covers many of Dr. Hahn’s previous talks concerning his conversion and journey to the faith, yet it brings everything home to turnHoly Eucharist and the liturgy of the Mass. Outstanding!

    Incredible depth
Listened to the first episode and learned an incredible amount about the Bible and the Church’s teaching on it. Scott Hahn does a fantastic job of presenting the various facts in a way that is easy to understand. There is so much detail here that I will have to listen to the episode again to take it all in!
