Wow! What a great reminder in this day and age. Don’t even give them a second thought. Just surrender it to the only one who can give us true peace.

    Actually, Trent…..
Actually, Trent, Frankenstein chases his monster out onto the sea ice, not the tundra, but….great show as always. 😎

    Fair
Yes it’s a catholic perspective but you have to respect one who can present their views in a respectful way without maligning or denigrating the views of others. Open minded dialogue helps us all

The only religious podcast you’re ever going to need
Trent does things few others can - he succinctly puts together, explains, and presents arguments or points together for his viewpoint using Scripture, historical documents, the Church fathers, and natural law. There’s no rhetorical blathering here, no restless opining, no poorly crafted opinion of what Scripture says presented as fact. Just good apologetics presented in a logical fashion that anyone can understand in under half an hour (normally) per episode. Can’t recommend Trent enough. Deus Vult

    Catholism
As a convert, being Catholic isn’t easy but what good thing is? The difference Catholicism is it’s Gods map to Him. Trent explains this journey in such an easy way to understand…and sometimes his truths are hard to take, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. Thank you Trent!

    Not to be taken seriously
Horn is debater who thinks talking over his opponent is winning. He is less than forthcoming in admitting his errors and faults. When caught, he whines for sympathy online or deflects with lame excuses. At this point, he's basically a more presentable Lofton. As an aside, Horn also appeared on his wife's deeply sacreligious YouTube show dressed in a diaper, so it was impossible to take him seriously after that, tbh.

Love Trent and how he backs up with facts and goes way deep

    So cowardly
Rather than just talk to E Michael Jones and do something to shut up all his critics, he’s concocted this whole story in his head about how he can’t responsibly use the internet. Im shocked he didnt throw in some accusations of the supposed “mortal sin of antisemitism”. He’s just so much better than those social media plebs. Talk to E Michael Jones. Dont be such a coward.

    Very informative
I differ from Trent on a lot of political things, but i deeply appreciate his insight as a fellow Catholic. I do like how he is true to the Church’s principles, and i learn more about my faith through him.

To full of himself, not enough substance
Admittedly I have only listened to two episodes but I won’t bother to listen to more. The host sounds pretentious and doesn’t support his assertions with actual evidence. I thought it was just the topic of the first episode I downloaded but, no, the second episode was the same.

    Only for far right Catholics
I stumbled upon this show because he was hosting someone I follow, and he handled it somewhat fairly. However, in listening to a few other shows I find him to be a highly bigoted Catholic. His recent show on “pro-life” showed him to be a hateful idiot. First, it was only men talking. There were only voices of 4 angry men. Second, he does not believe in any exceptions. Rape? Don’t care. Life of the mother? Tough luck for her. Work to make health care more accessible to reduce abortions? Nope don’t care. If you are one that likes to hold bloody signs at abortion clinics and yell at women dealing with tough situations while showing no compassion, you will love this guy.

    Foods
At what point does smugness become a mortal sin. “I can’t eat store bought bread”. “I can taste the chemicals”… ugh. It’s all just beneath you right? There are plenty of bad things people ingest, but this isn’t about that, it’s about people making yet another fad out of health and diet. We live longer than we did when we ate only non-processed foods on the farm. It’s a trade off and even the grossest processed foods aren’t as icky as the smugly superior palette.

    Childless
Trent - congrats that you have kids. Some women, like my wife, always wanted kids but was unable to have them. Not all women who are without children are part of a “problem”.

    Trent is the Best
I love this podcast. Not only is Trent Horn a fountain of knowledge about Catholicism, Protestantism and other religions but he is always respectful to other views. This is a “must have” podcast for anyone who is seeking God.

    Excellent podcast
Trent is very knowledgeable and well read. I appreciate his honesty and integrity.

    Best of what Rome has!
Full disclosure: despite being a protestant pastor and missionsry, despite Trent IGNORING my repeated offers for debate/dialogue... I still really admire Trent and his work. The show comes out regularly and I skip only the occasional episode. I enjoy Trent’s intellectual honesty, consistency and charity. I also like how Trent doesn’t seem to take himself too seriously... the new podcast artwork notwithstanding!

Trent Horn is a Great Guy
Was beginning to lose my faith a little and I had problems understanding Catholicism but Trent Horn’s podcast was great, one of my favorite Catholic speakers online right now for sure.

    Raised evangelical Protestant
Love this podcast as I question a lot of my assumptions about theology, scripture, tradition, the Catholic Church. I was very interested in EO but Trent is making me really curious about Catholicism. I would add one (tongue in cheek) critique: Trent often compared Protestantism, EO, and Catholicism by saying Protestantism is Sola Scriptura, EO is scripture + tradition, and Catholicism is scripture + tradition + magisterium. I would say in my experience Protestantism is “solo” scripture + my feelings, and in many circles that solo scripture is thrown out entirely when it’s inconvenient.

    The Friday is free
Big fan of the Friday free for alls. 10/10 would review again.

Free for all Fridays are bad
Free for all Fridays feel very forced and unfunny. Just overly Trent-splaining things. If you met Trent at a party and he started talking about his free for all Friday topics, you’d probably leave to go get another drink. Everything else is great!!!

    Hypocritical Byzantine Novus Ordo pusher
Like Michael Lofton, sanctimonious Trent and his sacrilegious cringe wife Laura attend the Byzantine liturgy while telling the plebs to stay in the irreverent Novus Ordo. Total hypocrisy with Francis pimping.

    Charitable and Clear
Trent does a great job expressing the truth with charity and kindness. Trent has become my favorite apologist. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone honestly seeking the truth on life’s most important questions.

Wonderful podcast! Listen to no matter what Christian tradition you're from
I'm a Protestant and Trent is just honestly one of my favorite Christian speakers/apologists out there. He challenges viewpoints but in the best kind of ways with a critical yet winsome manner. It's honestly hard not to respect his thoughts on the topics mentioned, whether you agree or not. You have to check it out to understand what I mean. The explicit mark by apple is a gross (and hilariously ironic) misnomer. Who's next, Greg Koukl, Bishop Barron....Veggie Tales? 🤷‍♂️

    Great podcast
Trent Horn tackles some challenging subjects with a profound delicacy. He is succinct with his perspectives and respectful of others that disagree. Disgracefully, this podcast is rated explicit and I believe that is a maliciously misguided rating. I’m disgusted with Apple for what appears to be targeting of conservative Christian content. Do better Apple, treat your customers with the same charity Trent treats those who disagree with his perspectives. Thank you Trent for being such a wonderful role model!

Great podcast! Why is it classified as explicit
I want to say thanks Trent for all you do! I truly appreciate your take on things and the logical arguments you put out to help defend the faith. I learn so much by listening to your show! That said, why did apple change the classification of this podcast to explicit. I have children who use my account and so I block explicit content through apple settings and am now forced to find this podcast elsewhere because of apple’s classification. Not a huge deal however given the incredible content!

    Thank you
Thank you for showing how to charitably refute Protestant arguments. I need that gift of debating with charity and love.

Thank you Trent for your insights and taking the time to put them into a logical and understandable framework.

    Truly Eye Opening and Enlightening
This podcast has truly helped my wife and I discover more information on our faith as Catholics. My wife being brought up Protestant had so many questions about Catholicism that I as a cradle Catholic couldn’t answer. This podcast helped her make her decision to become Catholic and discover her deeper found faith and practice now. It has helped me learn deeper into what it means to be a Catholic. Such a blessing to have access to this information. God Bless!

    True Catholicism
When you find yourself wading the world of catholic thought, especially online, you usually find yourself being pin-balled between the extreme left and the extreme right, wondering which is right. Trent and his team clear all of that pond scum and you can trust that, along with Catholic Answers, you are swimming in the catholic waters of orthodoxy. Don’t panic; just download and subscribe to Counsel of Trent and join them on pattern for even more wonderful content!!

    Very Approachable and Educational
Trent Horn breaks down issues relating to the Catholic faith. I appreciate his solid theological understanding and ability to relate it to a typical Catholic’s life and practice of faith. Additionally I love his nods to Byzantine tradition as a fellow Byzantine Catholic.

    Big fan
Hey Trent, big fan of the show, you’ve helped me with my conversion to the faith. I was baptized at age 37 after being an atheist roughly half my life and have gone full speed since . I have a wife and two children, and the conversion to the faith has brought us all closer in so many ways. We’re still a work in progress but I truly feel we are on the right path. Would love to talk to you sometime as I have quite the story of conversion.

    Love
To take communion without being confirmed into the church is like trying to hear and forgive sins as a priest without having hands laid upon you in ordination , even though you have the rest of the qualifications

    Child Abuse/Confession
If I were abusing children, truly sorry for my actions, and sought absolution, I should be willing to seek counseling to help overcome that desire. In fact, I would confess to law enforcement as well…
